Sketch Saturday Week #85

I just LOVED the sketch at Sketch Saturday this weekend.  I love the more complex sketches, which is funny because you really can make ANY sketch as complex as you like it.

I chose to use this stamp "Winter Lily" from Pink Cat Studio, which was a new release this winter.  So cute!  I also thought I would try some paper piercing and did her coat, pockets and hand warmer.  However, I added white Flower Soft to her hand warmer.  Looks so fluffy.  I know I have been making lots of cards recently with this paper so I'm almost out now.  LOL!!!  Amazing for someone who isn't purple friendly!!!

I also created this card for my LSS, Creative Accents, to display the beautiful products they have in their store.  I bought about 90% of my items there.  GREAT STORE!!

Stamps: Pink Cat Studio
Paper: Bo Bunny Snowy Serenade Serenity
Embellishments: CTMH ric rack ribbon (white), American Crafts "Elements" Glitter Buttons and Basic Grey Opaline Pearls
Punches: EK Sucess Leaf Punch, MS border punch and a bunch of Nesties
Ink: Colored With Copics and Momento Ink

Sharon Caudle's Blog Candy

Wow Sharon has some amazing candy going on over at her blog so please stop over and check it out!!  She also has the best cards EVAH and is one of my personal favorites to visit for inspiration.  Congratulations on your followers and blog hits Sharon!!

Window Treat Boxes

I thought I would try something different other then the everyday card.  It's not too often I lean away from cards because I love them so much, however I decided as a designer for my LSS I would step it up a notch.  (Thanks Cheri!!!)  These are Window Treat Boxes and you can find the tutorial on Splitcoast Stampers and it's EASY!!  It was faster then making a card!!

For the pink Window Treat Box my supplies are: Bittersweet Basic Grey paper, Kaisercraft pearls, hearts Spellbinders (for tag on top), Petaloo Mulberry Street, EK success leaf punch, Prima flowers and a Doodlebug brad in the center of the green flower.  All my supplies were purchased from my LSS, Creative Accents.  For my red/orange Window Treat Box my supplies are Cosmo Cricket Twist & Shout line, misc ribbon and SU button and Circle Cookie Cutter dies (2 for small circles under sprockets).  I used the Creative Memories cutting system for the ovals and border scissors for the edge around the top of the boxes.  You can use punches as well.

The tutorial doesn't have a piece of clear acetate in the window but I wanted it to keep all my jellybeans in.  I just cut a piece that fit between the front layer and my cardstock and glued it in thereThese were fun!

RAK from my sister!

My sister doesn't get a chance to make many cards but when she does, she spits out ultimate cards.  There's no messin' around with this lady.  It just so happens that I was fortunate to get this beautiful New Year's card.  Oh I'm just LOVING it!!  Thanks buddie!!

Magnolia Winter Kit

I FINALLY got my first club kit from Magnolia Stamp Club and am happy to report that it is a great deal!!  I did order them at the end of August and only received them at end of December but oh what a surprise it was!  LOL!!  I created this card from one of the figures in the kit and as I understand, the kit figures haven't been named yet.  The heart is also a piece in the collection and I cut out the inside heart to 3d it.  I also added a clear heart, covered with Twinklets beside it.

The tree is #476 Spring Tree and has flowers instead of leaves.  It's SO cute!!  I have cut out the front of the card and the tree is on the inside.  I used Bo Bunny papers, Prima flowers and Copics to color.  I also put little gem hearts floating down from the tree.
