Magnolia-licious Color Challenge

Wow the ladies at Magnolia-licious Color Challenge blog made me really work this time.  The challenge was to use red, white and black.  Ummmm OMG!!  Any of those colors together seem fine but adding one more of this color trio had me worried!!  "eeeeeeekkkkkkk!"  So I really had to put on my creative thinking cap for this one but I am happy with how it turned out and yes, even happy with the challenge!!  Thanks ladies!!

So I am entering into just a few challenges with obviously

Just Another Tilda

Just a quick post today!  I saw the pearl idea on another card over the last few weeks but you think I could find where I saw it?!  Heck no but if this was your idea I love it (obviously) and I wish I could give you credit.  What a fabulous idea!

A Spoon Full of Sugar - "Let's See Some Love" is the challenge I'm entering this card into.

Oh and by the way - I LOVE MAKING THESE FLOWERS!  They are so stickin' easy!  You just need some circles using nestibilities, rough up your papers, distress the edges (or not) and stick a brad in them.  VOILA!  Easy!

Happy Birthday Pops

This is a birthday card made for my FIL who loves playing guitar.  I printed the "Happy Birthday" music sheet from the internet.  The tickets stubs, ripped notebook paper (bottom layer), music notes bar AND guitar were all cut by my Silhouette machine.  Oh and the guitar??  Looks finicky?!  IT WAS!  But worth it cuz he loved it.  I even added strings although only half way I thought it was a good attempt.  LOL!!

The picks I made myself and the stars are Maya Chipboard and I added the paper to them and finished them off with Crackle Accents.

The card reads:

You can pick your guitar,
You can pick your friends,
You can pick your nose,
But you can't pick your birthday.

Aaaaahhhh ha ha ha ha!  Yup I did make this one up!!  All by myself!  And giggled most of the time I was doing it!

Tilda Notepad

Sometimes when you see something you just KNOW it's meant to have a Magnolia on it!  LOL!  Yesterday when I was in Save-On grocery store I found this on sale for $4.99.  It has 400 sheets of memo paper and the top is a hardcover and although it's cute all by itself I just thought I could make it better!  LOL!!

SO!  TADA!!  I'm pretty happy with how it turned out an entering this into the following challenges:

Magnolia Down Under Challenge - Love - Not only did I put LOVE on here using the Magnolia's "LOVE" background image stamp but I did fill this with love cuz I was making it for someone special.  Those always turn out better then when I make one just because.

Just Magnolia Week 92 - Anything Goes with the option of ribbons.   I ♥ anything goes challenges!!!

Top Tip Tuesday - Girlie Challenge.  WELL!!  Pink, hearts and flowers I would say are a shoe in for that challenge!  LOL!

Here's a sideview.  The nice thing is that my sister will take awhile to get through THAT many sheets of notepad paper so I know it'll be around for awhile.  Knowing her tho, she won't even use it.  LOL!!  It's okay buddie!  I'm giving you permission!!  ♥♥♥
