Tickled Pink Christmas Challenge #2

I am really enjoying these Christmas challenges with Tickled Pink Stamps Challenges.  It just helps me get ahead and I've NEVER premade xmas cards until it's the last minute and I'm stressing right out.  Well we all know THAT SUCKS!

This month's challenge is "Jingle Bells" so I decided to use Lil Lolita Christmas Evie, who is available in digi and rubber!!  See the white layer under my Magnolia Doohickey?  It's a layer of wrapping from a Lindt box of chocolates.  aaaa ha ha ha!!!  Umm ya I ate them.

Magnolia Easter Spring Extravaganza Contest

OH MY GOSH I bit off more then I could chew with this challenge.  LOL!!  When I first heard about the Magnolia Easter Spring Extravaganza Contest I was so excited about thinking of what to make I could hardly sleep!!  Now 3 weeks later, 20hrs into my project, 100 pictures and a big mess I'm glad it's finally done!!  LOL!!

And to think all this started with a paper mache egg!!  I felt like such a kid making this and I must say it was fun....until the 2nd & 3rd layer.  After I started building my egg I noticed a few others are entering eggs too.  Well what did I expect?  It's a Easter competition!!  LOL!  THEN I found out that you could buy them at Michaels.  DRAT!!

This was the hardest project ever to take pictures of so sorry if I overwhelm you with a bunch of them.  You can click on all the pictures to make them bigger.  I think they look better like that.

All the little white flowers were cut out with my Silhouette then I pushed on the center of them with a tool used for applying rub-ons to get them to "flower up".  I added a center of Stardust glitter to each one and in real life, they really sparkle.  The river was made with strips of blue textured paper.  I laid down double sided tape and started applying them and pleating as I went so it didn't look so flat.  The bridge was made by rolling little pieces of kraft paper, distressing the ends and then tying them together with Scrapper's Floss.

The tree in the middle is the Spring Magnolia Tree from Magnolia and I stamped an extra and added more blossoms.  WOW!!  That was time consuming!  The little posts holding up the banner are chop sticks covered with pink ribbon.  For some reason I found that really amusing.  LOL!!

Here we have Tilda With Eggs in Her Apron sitting on Stone Wall With End Pillar. The dirt on the path in front of her is Barbara Trombley's Earth Elements.  I adhered using double-sided tape and it worked pretty well.

Tilda With Newly Hatched Egg is the image I've used here.

Ok I just HAD to use the Twins......a lot of you know why but for those who don't it's cuz I am one!!!  They enjoy going barefoot in the grass and I had them stand in front of the Log image.....oh I make it sound like I asked them to move there.  Yikes!  That's getting lost in your project.  LOL!

This is Tilda With a Small Gift and she comes with a tag hanging down from a gift she is hiding behind her back. I cut off the tag cuz I knew if I tried to cut it out carefully I'd end up ripping it.  And even without the tag she just has such a cute pose!

I never claimed to be a photographer but only a crafter.  LOL!!  I must have 100 shots of Heartbreaker Edwin and still I couldn't get a good photo but at least it shows you that he's on his cloud.

Well that's it for now.  I will come back with a HOW I DID IT post one day but for now let's just look at the completed project.  I think this post is long enough!

Good luck to all the entries!!  You ladies have done an amazing job!!

To friends of mine who are in the Yahoo Magnolia group I would truly appreciate your vote when it comes time and if you feel my project is worthy!!  No sympathy votes please.  LMBO!!

Sorry all!!!  I'm late in posting my blog hop candy for the April Bunny Blog Hop!!  Wow life sneaks away on you doesn't it?!!  I just wanted to take a second and thank everyone who hopped onto my blog and joined us in the whole blog hop.  What amazing participation!!

I've been so short on time so instead of using the random generator I asked my husband to pick a number between 1 and 68, which were the number of comments I had.  WOW!

To my surprise he said #1!!

has won the Magnolia images!!

When I asked him out of all those number why he picked number 1 he asked me, "have you ever seen a random generator actually pick #1?"......Hmpf.....nope!!  LOL!!

CONGRATULATIONS!!

April Bunny Blog Hop

Today I'm joining up with fellow Canadian crafters for the April Bunny Blog Hop hosted by Made by Jacqueline!
The blog hop runs from April 1th-5th.

If you have hopped here from Liz's blog Miss Merryweather's Creations, you're on the right path.  If you'd like to start from the beginning I'll send you back to Jacqueline's blog.

In honor of Easter we are all making a project with a bunny on it!  Well I made 3 projects and used mostly my Silhouette machine.

Bear with me, there are lots of picture.

My first project is just the cutest little buddy with treats on the inside. I used Silhouette's bunny_treat_bag_C00068_30551

My next project is Silhouette's

And my last project is a revamped Walmart pail with my Silhoeutte bunny border!  Oh and on the inside is a cupcake (pictured below) made with 2 pairs of little girls' socks and chocolates.  I got that idea from Paula's blog Low Country Paisley, so that's for that Paula!  I wish my cupcake looked as great as hers did.  I might have to try again!  hee hee

(A little hard to see with the sun shining.  Sorry!)

For the lid I made a Silhouette flower - I luv this one!

Here's a picture of the sock cupcake out of the pail.  I used a Silhouette cupcake wrapper and then used some digi paper to pleat around the wrapper.

BLOG CANDY!!  YES OF COURSE!!!!
To one lucky blog hopper, I'm giving away 2 of my favorite brand of stamps. MAGNOLIA'S!!!  I will be drawing the winner on April 6th.
