I've chosen to use digi "I've Never Met a Margarita I Didn't Like".....true story too!! The limes I used are from Jolee's and I think it may be the first time I ever used them on my cards but they were just too cute!!  I added some Twinklettes to the rim of my glass and it looks sooooooo tasty IRL!!  I also used Tim Holtz's "Bitty Grunge" stamp to make it look like some rays of sunshine are coming from behind the drink.  It looked so blah with just the plain orange cardstock.  Love that set.  Thanks Cheri!

Magnolia-Extravaganza Contest

So as a number of you know I entered a project and card in the Magnolia-Extravaganza Contest.  I didn't win but I did get a random $25 gift certificate, which is better then a kick in the pants so I'm happy.  LOL!

Hey can you tell where I got the design paper that is layered behind the twins??  If you own a Magnolia you own this paper.  It's the paper that comes in the pack with your Maggie's.  I stamped it with my Magnolia "Swedish Heart" and then distressed it.  Once again I hand made those flowers and as soon as I can find the tutorial I'll pass it along.  They are so easy!

CLP Birthday Blog Hop

My Last Secret!

YES IT'S TRUE! I'm so excited to share that I'm a member of Magnolia Down Under Challenge.   Yiiiippppeeeeeeee!!  I know in the last number of posts of new teams that I'm on I carry on about how fabulous the ladies talent is on each the new teams I'm on but jeepers!! I can't stop saying it!!  I am so lucky!! 

Anyway, so on to my first card created for the MDUC blog! This week's challenge is:

LACE and RIBBON

I've used just a smidge of lace and stapled it on to my card and my "ribbon" is Tim Holtz's Filmstrip Ribbon.  It's a small small piece but technically it works.  LOL!!  I hope I've helped inspire you for this Magnolia challenge being my first card and all.  If you are wondering what the rules are please check them out at the MDUC blog.  Would LOVE to see you there!!  Hugs!
