Paper Sunday Challenge

Tickled Pink Stamps is sponsoring Paper Sundaes Challenge blog and I was lucky to be their guest designer for this challenge, which is...........[drum roll please]...........

Shabby Chic/Vintage!

So just to be clear, I looked up the meaning because I was really hoping this Lil Victorian Steampunk Lolita Lilith would qualify.   You can purchase her at Tickled Pink Stamps.

"Shabby chic is a style of decoration that purposefully looks worn, vintage or antique. Sometimes the items are legitimately vintage, and other times, they are manufactured that way."

Ok YAY!!!  Cuz that's what I was going for here.  My favorite part about this card is that my sister wanted it....okay wait wait!!  ha ha ha!  No, it was the little tiles!!  I bought them at a scrapbook store and am sorry to say they had no manufacturer on them other then "Made in China".  I added some distressing and OMG they're cute!  And pretty much everything is Tim Holtz.  No addiction here.  LOL!

And don't you just love that gold combo?!  I colored her with Copics and the gold color is thanks to Suzanne Dean.  Y00, 11, 15, YR23 and she added YR24 but both my YR23 and YR24 are exactly the same.  I don't think that's right but whatever.

So please check out the challenge at Paper Sundaes this week and check out the design team too.  They are amazing!!  Thanks for having me as your GDT for this challenge!!

I want to thank Angela from In My Quiet Time for the coloring inspiration.  She is absolutely AMAZING!!  THANKS AMY!

Me!! Chibi`d - Animated!

So I just HAD to get in on getting Chibi`d!  All the COOL kids are doin`it.  LOL!!  What is a Chibi?

Chibi is a Japanese word meaning “short person” or “small child”. In my case it`s short person.  LMBO!!

I asked her to darken my hair a bit OH ANNNNND I have no mole above my lip now so asked her to draw me without it.  It`s so recent that I haven`t had any pictures taken yet.

So what do you think?  I always wanted to see myself animated!!  hee hee

Kristy does these up and I was amazed at how quick she was!  Check out all the other ones she's done.  They are so cute.   Thanks Kristy!!

Magnolia Down Under Challenge #96

MY FAVORITE THINGS

This week at MDUC it's all about YOUR favorite things. Pull out your favorite papers, your favorite Magnolia image, your favorite embellishments and craft up a storm!!

These are a few of MY favorite things:

NUMERO UNO: Being a twin

THEN: pink, feathers, flowers, distressing, butterflies, glitter and bling.

Hey can you tell where I got the design paper that is layered behind the twins?? If you own a Magnolia you own this paper. It's the paper that comes in the pack with your Maggie's. I stamped it with my Magnolia "Swedish Heart" and then distressed it. Once again I hand made those flowers and as soon as I can find the tutorial I'll pass it along. They are so easy!

So join us will you!! All the details are at MDUC blog and check out all the other ladies inspiration!!!

Stamps: Magnolia "Twins", Swedish Heart, Love Background
Paper: Melissa Frances "5th Avenue"
Embellishments: Wild Orchid Crafts flowers, Melissa Frances Vintage Keyholes, Michael's Recollections glitter flourishes, misc feather, Bo Bunny Gabrielle butterfly, Bazzill heart chipboard, Prima Pebbles, Stardust Stickles, misc lace and doily.
Punches: Magnolia "Romantic Tag" Doohickey and "Romantic Lace" border

Baby Cards

*****I do realize many of you have already seen this so just ignore.  I just wanted to repost it so it was on my blog.  No need to recomment.  THANKS!

So I begrudgingly set to task to make 2 baby cards - for some reason they're hard for me - and came out with a couple that were cute.  I tried to stick with simple and for those of you who know me IRL, you know that's almost impossible.  Also, it's a huge possibility that the recipient will throw these away eventually.  I know, GASP!  So hence, light on the embellishments.  hee hee

For my first card I've used Meljen's "Cuddle Cloud Baby" and just used a Marvy punch I picked up while shoppin' with the girls last weekend.  You'll be seeing more of these on my future cards for sure.

I've used a sketch from Sunday Sketch & Stamping but I'm too late to enter it but that's okay.  I just needed a sketch.

Stamps:  Meljen's "Cuddle Cloud Baby"
Embellishments: Blue butterfly from Petaloo floral embellishments, Stickles, Hero Arts adhesive lace and sentiment from Creative Memories sticker.
Punches: Marvy small flowers and Magnolia "Romantic Lace Die" Doohickey
Copics:
Stars: Y17, 15,13
Around Cloud: B00, 000, 0000
Diaper: YG 25, 03, 00, 0000
Hearts: R81, RV10, RV00
Cloud: C5, 3, 1, 00
Skin: E50, 51

My 2nd card for today is for the same person as one of these my MIL is giving her.  Yup she paid me for it but the MIL rate.  LOL!

I tried a new skin combo....please let me know what you think.  I was shocked to learn of this combo. (Listed below)

Well that's it for today.  Off to color and find more things to stick together.  Have a nice day!
