Little Darlings - Cutie Pie Blog Hop

Well have you enjoyed what you have seen so far?  These images are just the cutest!  If you have come from the uber talented Mindy's blog then you are heading in the right direction.  If you'd like to soak it all up the blog starts at the `Little Darlings Challenges`.

I decided on using this little cutie called `Flowers for You` and add some of my favorite embellishments, WHICH by the way, is the current challenge going on at the Little Darlings Challenge blog.  Favorite embellishments!  I think my favorites are the doily`s and Wild Orchid flowers.  Well and really anything that`s pretty.  LOL!!  Oh and I also love using rolled flowers but I don`t think I use them enough.  hee hee

 And I also managed to make the cutest tag!!  I took this picture on a different day so it's a bit brighter. 

I just wanted to say thanks to Mindy Baxter for asking me to be a guest in the new Little Darlings Cutie Pie blog hop.   I love trying out new things!

"Love Is In The Air" Valentine's Challenge

For this week's challenge at MDUC we're doing Valentine's.  This little cutie is from the new Sweet Crazy Love collection from Magnolia.  I bought a box of chocolates and cut, what was suppose to be a heart shaped window, so you could see the chocolates.

Designed To Color Online Magazine

I am so super excited to tell you that I've been asked to be on the design team for the new online magazine "Designed To Color".   It's more about the coloring and viewing  some insanely gorgeous cards!  AND IT'S FREE!!

The premier edition is just hot off the presses so please check it out and let me know what you think!  Carisa's goal is to eventually have this printed in paper and I love the idea of having it at my fingertips for quick reference.

MDUC #130

Use Your National Flag

This week at MDUC we're using our national flag!  At first I thought this was gonna be boring because of course, I only have 2 colors to play with.  WRONG!  Also, not to mention it's right before Valentine's so guess what?!!  A 2-fer-1!!  hee hee! :)

So instead of a card I thought I'd play with a Valentine's project.  I'm thinking there may be more of these coming but when I do that I end up eating the leftover chocolates.  That's baaaad!!  But yummy.  LOL!!

Aren't the ribbons cute?  I used the tutorial from Really Reasonable Ribbon's Ramblings but the only thing I did different was I added a little bit of hairspray to them.  hee hee  

I'm so excited about my coloring on this image.  I watched Make It Crafty's tutorial on folds and also took tips from the Magnolia Ink "Sweet Christmas Dreams|" magazine.  I did make a few mistakes but being that it was my first time I was pretty happy with the fact that I colored a useable image.  LOL!!

 You should see some of the other cards the ladies at MDUC made.  I am sooo glad my colors weren't what some of theirs were.  Talk about challenging but they did really well!

Another lovely gorgeous image in the Greek line of images at Tickled Pink Stamps, which you can grab up on January 20th EDT.  Do you prefer digi?  Then hang in there until the middle of February when Kellie has her digi's on sale.  I love that you don't have to wait.  Nothing like instant gratification!

I just had a need to use that Tim Holtz film strip again.  I don't think I've used it enough since I bought it and it was one of my favorite embellie's.
