Oooo Fancy Schmancy!

I get such a kick out of this Magnolia.  She's all dressed up and ready to head out!!!  You can find Tilda and Wiola at Magnolia-licous along with the rest of the Summer Memories collection.  So super sweet!

I added flower soft to the bouquet and colored her up with Distress markers .... kinda.  LOL!  Unfortunately her coloring IRL is darker but it seems to have lightened right up in this photo.

I have to laugh about distressing this because I used the Distrezz-it-All electric distressing tool and man alive that thing doesn't mess around!!  My first comment when I turned it on was WHOA!  LOL!  You have to be careful otherwise half your paper will get eaten but I love it cuz it makes short order of distressing so many layers.  Worth the money!!

I'm going to enter this card into the following challenges:

CLP #49

Welcome to the next CLP sketch challenge.  Ok so honestly I did use the sketch but I just noticed that some of it may be hiding under all my embellie's.  LOL!!

I tried out my Tim Holtz distress markers again with some new paper I got at a crop I went to about a month ago.  It's fabulous but only comes in a cream and very very expensive so I don't know that I'll continue to go that route.  There must be more out there!!  Also, I'd like to have white paper so I'm on the hunt still.

Here's the gorgeous sketch for this month:

So if you get a chance to join us we'd be thrilled to have you!!  Also, the girl's have outdone themselves again so if you need a little inspiration please pay them a visit

To all you Canadians have a great long weekend and to all the rest have a wonderful weekend as well!!  Hugs!

Father's Day Card

Just a quick post today as I have a few things I must get to, which I'm sure we all do today.  I got a chance to pull out the 'ol Silhouette machine but boy oh boy do I need to use that thing more often!  It's so much fun!!  I used it to make the football card and on the inside it says ".....on having you for a dad!"  Had some itty bitty BC Lions stickers that worked out perfectly too!!

I got this image from Kenny K appropriately called "Football" after seeing it on Kards by Katie.  Thanks!!  What a great idea no matter what team!

Birthday Wishes

I had to make a birthday card for my MIL's friend and wouldn't you know it?  Another purple card.  Hmmm....interesting.  LOL!!  I didn't color this but I used one of those LOTV's "Mice Are Nice" die cut sheets for a quick card.  Ok, it wasn't THAT quick but I did eliminate the few hours of time spent coloring the image.  Besides, they're super cute!

I added my own zipper flower and just an assortment of Wild Orchid flowers.  As if you can't tell already they are one of my favorite embellishments!!  Love the new border die from Magnolia and the Spellbinders "Fleur de Lis Squares" die as well.

I think I'll enter this card into Wild Orchid Flowers - "Anything Goes" challenge.

Thanks for looking!  Eulanda
