Pion - The Songbird's Secret

Have you seen the new Pion papers yet?  Ooooooooooooo - wait - I say that every time new papers come out don't I?  LOL!  Well they sure look pretty paired up with one of the newer Dutch Doobadoo templates - Card Art A4 Window 2.

I've added a sprig of hyacinth and a gorgeous green blossom amidst a few Wild Orchid flowers.

I tied some twine and a seam binding bow and popped a few more flowers on with a Melissa Frances resin key.  I cut the butterflies from the borders paper and added a small strand of pearls.

On the inside I used one of Scrapiniec's stunning royal window pieces and underneath layered with Joy's Decorative Floral Frame.  I also distressed all the edges as it seems to me, that helps for a more vintage look.  I added a couple of antique corner pieces and cut out a sentiment that matches from the paper's as well.

I like using these templates for a quicker card.  You can't really add a whole lot to the front for fear of them getting top heavy.  HA HA HA!  Well maybe for me anyway.  hee hee

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Noor! UK February Challenge

Yup yup challenge time again!!!  I love these themes at Noor! UK Design because they are always so easy and usually can be incorporated into what we are currently making cards for.  So for this month, it's one you could easily guess....

Have a Heart

SEE?!!  Easy peasy!!  I'm also matching my papers to the theme as well by using Maja Design's "Vintage Romance".  I used some gorgeous Morgana lace but it's normally flat so I put some thread through and pulled on it to make it ruffly.

I cut out a few dies from the Marianne Design "Doily Die star" - ooooooo this die cut soooo smoothly I just love!!  I've added some gorgeous flowers and if you haven't been to the site lately, there are some new ones in stock.

I chose to make a shaker card and added some pretty silver hearts to my shaker frame.  Hindsight...I should have added some glitter.  DOH!

I love these bigger flowers too.  The blue one is called "Blossom" and the white one is one of the new ones I mentioned - Chrysanthemum.  Nope, I didn't get my spelling right the first time.  Thank you spell check.  LOL!!

Well I hope you get a chance to enter the challenge.  Thank you for stopping by to check out my little "Love" card.  Have a great day!
Hugs!

Flowers For You

So this was the second card I had in December's issue of Papercraft Essentials.  STOKED!  So excited!!  😁  These papers are from Studio Light "Beautiful Flowers" and I colored this LDRS All Dressed Up "Flowers for You" image using my copics.

I made a couple of my own flowers using the "Flowers of Joy" die and "Beautiful Flowers" papers again, then popped a pearl in the center to finish them off.  I also misted the die cut flowers and crinkled them up a bit before layering them together.

On the left side I cut some white card stock using the "Flower Edge Die" by Joy Crafts then glued a Scrapiniec chipboard border piece "Doily Lace Border" giving me a double border because I happen to love texture and layers.  No, really!!  LOL!!

Just a close up of this cute little image.  After I made these cards I kinda fell in love with the little cuties!

Here I added another Scrapiniec piece "Doily Lace Round Frame" and added some Wild Orchid flowers, a big pink English rose, a white shabby chic bow and popped a wooden button on top.  Also added a couple of pink strawberries, which I know I've said before but I'll say it again - my FAV!!

I added the cute vintage arrow and tied a piece of pink wax cord to finish it off.  I also have to mention the lace - (singing in a high pitched voice) ... gooorgeous!!!  😁

Thank you for coming back to check things out!!
