Time to Sparkle

Isn't this image just the cutest?!!  You can preorder her and many others on the Noor store right now and you should see the selection!!  KA-UTE!!!  I used the Lemon Craft "Just Love Me" papers and added some hints of lime green.  I haven't tried this color combo ....well for as long back as I remember but I love how it turned out!  I added three layers of laces (see below) and some pearls (top and bottom).
I used my Copics to color this image and framed her in a Scrapiniec "Doily Lace Oval Frame".  At the moment I don't think this one is in stock, however if you would like it just let Tracy know.  Also, there are still some other frames in the store that are equally as gorgeous!
In behind the bouquet I layered Marianne's "Design Doily Star" and wow does it ever cut nicely!!  I've also added some glass strawberries, WO flowers, glistening berries and those stunning pink flowers are from Prima.
Well isn't this a springy card if you ever saw one?!!  I love it!  Made me feel good to make it even tho it was snowing at the time.  Urgh!!  Each week I complain about winter, I'm hoping I'm complaining for the last time...only to find out I'm not!!  LOL!!  Thank goodness for crafts!!  hee hee

Tom's Motorbike

Well we all could use a man card throughout the year so here's one for you to case if you like.  LOL!!  Hey, I'm all about making it easier for other people.  Speaking of easy, the easiest thing to start with on a man card is a masculine image and papers from the same collection and in this case I've chosen Pion's "Mr. Tom Treasures".  The motorcycle was cut from one of the 12 x 12 sheets - GASP!  I know from a whole sheet!!  Nah, I had used some already so it lessened the ordeal.  LOL!!!

One of my favorite 12" x 12" pieces that comes from the line is "Mr. Tom's Automobiles" and has nothing but license plates all over the back.  You have enough plates to last a lifetime!!  WOO HOO!! LOL!

I love sprockets for men's cards and the Joy "Gears" die cuts beautifully.  I also added a piece of vintage seam binding and was careful to just knot it instead of making it into a pretty bow.  LOL!!  AND it's green, a good "man" color.  hee hee

To get the sprockets background I used Dutch Doobadoo's mask art "A5 Gears".  This is the perfect staple to have in your stash!  I also cut some of the Scrapiniec "Royal Background Mesh" and painted it using a Tim Holtz dauber.  That chipboard takes paint beautifully!

Ok so I hope I've helped out someone with their man card as we know that father's day will be upon us in no time flat.  It's funny, every year the same holidays and special days come up and I'm still so shocked when all of a sudden "it's here again!"  LOL!  Jeesh!  ðŸ˜€

Noor! Design UK Spring Challenge

Yup yup yup it's that time again!!!  CHALLENGE TIME and this month we are playing with
SPRING!!

Thank goodness!!  So happy!!  LOL! I thought I would play with the new Pion Papers "The Songbird's Secret" and cut one of the images from the 12 x 12 "Perching Bird".  I know, cut into a gorgeous piece of paper?!!  GASP!!!  ðŸ˜±  Wasn't it worth it tho?  It was the perfect fit for the Scrapiniec "Lavender Mist" frame.  I love this new Marianne die simply called "Butterfly Border" - stunning isn't it?!  It even comes with 2 separate butterfly dies which I thought was brilliant!!  They are different sizes so you can either pop them onto the border like I have here or you could center the smaller die cut over the bigger one.  I've done that too and it looks very pretty.

I made some Foamiran flowers and centered them with some green glistening berries.  The sparkle is so pretty!  I centered them upon some moss and popped on a couple of butterflies from the "Borders" 12" x 12" sheet.  I think the butterflies have to be one of my most favorite things about that sheet.  Well....I do like the flags too tho....ummm and the sentiments....OK OK what DON'T I love about it?  hee hee

This is a new birdcage out from Joy - Little Happiness - and I embossed it using Stampendous "aged gold" embossing enamel.  I added a chipboard bird, which I colored by tinting some white gesso with walnut stain distress ink.  Then I covered it with Crackle accents to get that weathered look...ummm ya so that didn't work out the way I had in mind.  Dang it!  ha ha ha!

Well please stay tuned as I have another card to share with you tomorrow already.  I'll give you a hint....masculine.  OK OK that's it!!  LOL!!  Have a wonderful week and thank you so much for dropping by!

HUGS!
