Wine Tasting Tilda

So this is the second time I tried using Dutch Doobadoo's Dutch Envelope Art Heart A4 template.  I learned something while I was creating it that I'll share.  Don't use any patterns that can't be turned one way or another and look good.  I had used a sheet with hearts on it and dang it they weren't upside down and sideways and it was just a hot mess!  LOL!!!!  BUT!  Once finished using the right paper it is CUTE CUTE CUTE!!!!  I used Maja Design's "Summertime" collection starting with one of the garden cut images on front and just a couple of embellie's.

Ooooooo ok this was tricky.  I cut a piece of red cardstock using the Joy "Love Heart" die but then cut out the center to make it appear like the inner heart should be see through then surrounded it with a pearl string.  The envelope closes using a slit in the flap and pulling through a heart shaped tab.  Clever design!

I had to keep my embellishments limited since this envelope actually gets closed.  That was a little tough for me (LOL) so instead I used as many dies as I could without clutter.  Another challenge for me.  ha ha ha!!  I distressed all edges of every layer and every piece with cocoa brown Momento ink.

I enjoyed using Magnolia's "Wine Tasting Tilda" so much once, I had to play with her again only this time with Copics!!  I added some layers behind that super cute sentiment (hee hee) and used the Joy "Doily Edge" die as the bottom layer.

So now why don't you try it?  Easy peasy!  LOL!!  It just ends up being this sweet envelope, one that any would love to receive in the mail!  If you're looking for one of these let Tracy know and she can order it in for you.

Time For A Coffee Break

I had a lot of fun with this card!!  The color combo, the die cuts, the extra's but especially this image from LDRS "Time For A Coffee Break".  SO CUTE!  I started with picking all my dies.  The first one is the new Joy border "Carved With Flowers".  I added flowers to mine but underneath, the die cuts the flowers and they pop up.  The 2nd is the Joy "Oval Decorative Floral Frame" on the right side of the card under my bouquet.  The third is a Joy "Fancy Flower Edge" die and is out of stock but if you like it, Tracy can order you one.

I've had this rusty tin corrugated heart for awhile and finally managed to figure it into a card.  Now that I have, I want more!  They are so cool!!  ðŸ˜€  I tried not to cover it a whole lot so just added a sweet lace bow and some Marianne tassels.

I was at it again making some more blue and brown Foamiran flowers.  I used my rolled flower die, (which is a different brand, however there is a Joy one available on the store - just sayin'  ðŸ˜€) and popped a pearl in the center over top some glitter stamens.

Did you happen to notice the layers of lace at the bottom of the card?  There are some new ones in the store a few weeks ago.  You must see them  - so stunning!!

Thank you for coming by again!!
Hugs!

Cuddle Mice

This card was fun to make but after I was finished I thought I should have made it into a canvas!  7" x 7" (almost 18cm x 18cm) and I still managed to have embellishments fall outside of that measurement! Well my thinking was that I wanted to added lots of embellishments but I also wanted to show some of Maja Design's gorgeous "Vintage Romace" papers.  Ummm....well I tried!!!  LOL!

The image is from Whimsy Stamps called "Cuddle Mice".  It reminds me of how I feel these days with this winter just dragging.  I just want to stay in bed!  LOL!!  But WOW did it ever take me awhile.  Ok BUT there were 2 contributing factors.  I am a little slow as I'm still practicing my distress inks and also there was a hockey game on tv.  ha ha ha!!  The hockey game was 3 hours but I still wasn't finished however, I was pretty satisfied with how it turned out.  Time well spent I thought.  hee hee  I added some "Diamond Dust"glitter to the pom pom on the hat and over the grey flooring.  FUN!!!

I know I've said it before but I LOVE these metal leaves!!  You can bend and shape them quite easily so they have a lot of form to them.  Seems the Marianne die is a "go to" for me right now but it's just the perfect shape and size for layering.  After I added the WO English roses I put some glitter on those as well.  OH AND I added more to the miniature glass jar.  Those are fun too!

The Marianne "tassel dies" are so easy to make but adding them under the "filigree flat back pearl", wax cord bow and seam binding bow seemed like the perfect addition.

I hope you've enjoyed this one!  I know I did!

I'm entering this card into Whimsy's challenge:
Anything Goes!
(With an optional twist of Easter.)

Thanks for stopping by!
