My Dearest Sophia

When I first started out with this card I spent about forty-five minutes placing shapes, pieces and embellishments only to have nothing working with me!!  URGH!!  I had been away for a few weeks and hadn't crafted so I felt like each piece was killing me!!  What is going on?!!  I decided to change the shape of the card and all of a sudden - VOILA, it just flowed and this was created.  PHEW!  I thought I'd almost lost it!  LOL!  😅

The new "My Dearest Sophia" papers and images from Pion had arrived and I so badly wanted to use those.  Very pretty!  Oh and what a coincidence (not really) I also received the gorgeous laces at the same time so that helped immensely!

Scrapiniec has some new chipboard out that's now in the store under the "Grapevine" collection.  I've said it before but I'm gonna say it again,  I just love how delicate and detailed it is.  I used a new border die from Joy "Edge Die w/Impellers".  Dainty don't ya think?

Here's another close up of that pretty Scrapiniec chipboard and can you see my little ladybug?

I topped off the card with a big seam binding bow and Marie button.  I've hoarded this button for some time now but I realized if I use it I order more.  LOL!  I'm trying to work on NOT hoarding and just use the darn stuff!!!  That's what I bought it for!  I'll let you know how that works out for me.  hee hee

Well it was great to be back into crafting again.  I know 2 weeks isn't that long but it made me really appreciate my craft room more that I already do...and that's a LOT!!  💖  Now the weekend is right around the corner so I hope you get some crafty time in!  I definitely will!!

Thanks for stopping by!

Noor! Design UK "LACE" Challenge

NEW CHALLENGE!!!

Thanks for those who joined us last month with the Noor! Design "Flowers" challenge.  It was an easy one huh?  Well this month we have another one that's just as easy!!

LACE

See?  Easy!  Unless it's a man's card, every card I make has a piece on it.  😏

Who doesn't like them a little cutie patootie Magnolia every once in awhile?!!  This one is from the Little Emoji's collection called "Cause I Love You".  I've colored her with my Copics and I'm thinking I should use her again soon.  She's my new favorite!!

I decided to use some of my favorite papers as well.  Maja Design's "Vintage Romance" available in the store.  And check out that new die!!!  OOooooooo huh?!  Yup yup it's from the new dies in the store called Fantasy dies and this one is "Bunting With Hearts" and you can find it here.  It's out of stock right now but Tracy can get it in for you.

Here's another one of those gorgeous Fantasy dies called "Bazaar".  They're both such delicate dies I just love them and the whole line is like this.  I also added a few gorgeous pink "Blossom" flowers, some meadow spray and a couple more WO flowers.

Here is my lace on my card.  Two rows of pure lush prettiness!!  The key is also a new item in stock.  Pretty as well!

If you find something you like that's out of stock just send an email to Tracy and she might be able to help you.

Thanks for stopping by!  I really appreciate the visits I get as it does take us all time to write these posts.  These days I'm almost doing it for my own reference as I know Facebook has kind of taken over but that's ok.  Move along with the times I suppose.  😀

Have a great week and see you on Thursday!
Hugs,
Eulanda

Milton with Gifts

I just LOVE the look of pastels and distress inks so for this card I put them together with Maja's newly released Sofiero papers.  I cut my shaped card and then started layering all my dies.  I know I've said it before but I'll say it again, that Marinne doily die cuts so beautifully it's just effortless when all the cut pieces fall away from it.  I also used Joy's "Let's Party Balloon's" and behind the image is Joy's "Oval Frame".  That one has always been one of my favorite's.

How sweet is that bear?!!!  That's Milton with Gifts from Wild Rose Studio and you might be able to tell that I added some glitter to all the bows on the gifts.  Loved coloring this with my distress inks, so cute!

I tied a shabby bow and hung a couple of heart swirl charms from the bow.

I've made a couple of Rosy Owl Foamiran flowers and after adding my stamens plopped a big fat pearl right in the center that I had in my stash from a costume necklace my sister had but never wore. ha ha ha!  I put a wax cord bow under another WOC english rose flower.

Well I hope you like my fuzzy cuddly bear card!  Again, if you find something you like that's out of stock just send an email to Tracy and she might be able to help you.
