Winnie - Ice Cream Treats

Using sentiments isn't something I did much of, prior to being on the DT at Polkadoodles but the Posydoodle Tags and Sentimentals make it so much easier!!!

I chose to use one of the newer paper pads called Vintage Candy.  One of the papers is full of butterflies so I fussy cut all of these ones but then I scanned, traced and cut the teal colored ones using my Brother Scan and Cut.  I popped those together with glue and curved the wings to add more dimension.

Aren't they pretty?!!

Here are some pieces that make up the base of my card.  I've used the largest die from the Elegant Nest set and then ran it through an embossing folder.  Then I added my image using some foam tape for even MORE dimension!  I found a nice border die from my stash as well as some pretty ribbons for layering.

This little cutie is called "Ice Cream Treats" and I've used the clear polymer stamp.  Check at your local stockist or scoop up (no pun intended 🤣🤣) the black and white digi version from the store.

Then I went crazy with my embellishments from my stash.  I've popped another dimensional butterfly atop my bouquet and snuck in a shabby chic bow under it all.

I hope you've enjoyed my treat card today!

Thanks for stopping by,

Ruby Gift

Good day!  Eulanda here and it's my turn to show how I use my Brother ScanNCut for a background layer behind my die.

I absolutely ADORE dies and that is one thing I will NOT give up even tho I have a Brother Scan and Cut AND a Silhouette machine.  Dies are so nice and easy to just grab, throw through your cutter and voila!!  However, what I LOVE that I can do, is put a background behind any die that I use as shown here.  On the left side, I have die cut the new Oval Trellis Die and stuck it on to my cutting mat and then had my ScanNCut scan it first.  Next, on the right, after making my proper selections, I sent the image to be cut with some white cardstock to fit in behind my die.

Here is the white layer you see behind the Oval Trellis Die and it's a perfect fit!  I've used Nikky's AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME Ultimate Graphic 160gsm paper to print out some patterns from the Eden Collection - Paper Heaven 1-10.  I can't say enough about how amazing this paper is to print on.  A photo just doesn't do it justice but be it the printable selections in the store or the patterned paper it's totally worth it!!

For this birthday card I've used Ruby Gift digi but also available is Ruby Gift  - the precolored image, which is perfect for a quick card!  I also added a saying from the Perfect Wishes sentiments clear stamp set.

Isn't this little bouquet just so pretty?!!  I have my wax cord and seam binding bows under a few flowers and a little happy birthday charm I found in my stash.  Woo hoo!

I die cut this pretty butterfly from the Butterfly Trio set, from some pretty silver foil paper then popped a Tim Holtz nib, flower and little colored pearl on top.

I hope you like my card for today!!  I felt like I stretched my mind with this one.  I have no idea why, do you get some of those?  Thank you for stopping by!

Hugs,
Eulanda

Winnie - Sky's the Limit

Today I've decided to share a slimline card with you, which I am LOVING but you really have to think about how to fill space vertically!  😮

Here I've cut my base then rolled the scalloped slimline die through my die cut machine.  Next I cut my cloud patterned paper is from Work & Play 1-10 Paper Heaven.

Here are all my layers adhered together and I used foam pop up dots to build height on my card.  I love dimension!!

I picked papers from the Mermazing Ocean 6 x 6 paper pad to use for my grass and sun elements.  Also for layering my sentiment from Sentimentals 6" x 6" paper pack.  It comes with sooooo many sentiments it makes picked out the perfect saying super easy!  The Posydoodle Tags are a perfect addition for the sentiments as it comes with 5 different tags for you to choose from.

I also cut some tree's for my forest from the Iced Branches die set and added the leafs from thew new Super Sprigs die.  Oh I think you're going to see a lot of that on my cards going forward.  What a handy die!

I've colored Winnie using my copics and this image is called Sky's the Limit, which you might be able to find at your local stockists as it does come as a clear polymer stamp.  If you can't find it there, it's in in the store in black and white and precolored, which some days is super handy if you need a quick card.

I hope you've enjoyed my card for today!!  I certainly enjoyed making it!

Have a crafty day!
Hugs,
Eulanda

Winnie - Christmas Bauble

Last year I managed to have most of my cards created on time for a stress free card making season.  It was GLORIOUS!  So here I am starting again and there are MANY wonderful images and papers in the store to help with year round Christmas creating!

There is a wonderful selection of papers in the store but for this card I've use a sheet from each craft paper pads, Ho Ho Ho Christmas and Ho Ho Gnome.

This is Winnie Christmas Bauble, which is a clear polymer stamp available at your local PD stockists and in the Polkadoodles store from the Winnie White Christmas collection.  OH MY GOSH have you seen the other images in this collection?!!  Eeeeeeeeee so super cute!!

I've added some flowers, sisal under all the embellishments and popped on a few white wooden snowflakes.  I even created a couple springs using some wire from my stash.  I wrapped it around a shaping tool that looks like a pencil that had a bit bigger shaft but you can use anything!

And for this fun card I even added a light that turns on by pushing the pom pom on her hat.

To me, Christmas seems so far away but all of a sudden when you're not looking BAM!!  It's tomorrow!!  Do you create your Christmas cards year round?

Happy creating!
Hugs,
Eulanda

Nuts About You

Today I'm sharing this cute scene I've created using a clear stamp set from Polkadoodles called Nuts About You Woodland Fox.  I'm really loving this spring feeling!

To start with I masked my images and then colored in my sky using my distress inks and the Great Outdoors 6 x 6 stencil.  After that was done I colored the whole scene using my copics.

How do you like my puffy ball lace?  I just had to add that cuz they're FUN! 😁

I've used papers from the collections Work & Play 1 - 10 Paper Heaven and Eden Collection - Paper Heaven 1-10 digital craft download bundle.  The bundles are just the BEST!!!  Such great selections!  I've layered a cord and a simple pink ribbon bow under my flowers and teenie cones I collected in the area.  WOO HOO a free embellishment!!  SCORE!!!  🤣🤣🤩

And another bouquet of Wild Orchid craft flowers.

Are you in the mood for creating spring cards now?  We were suppose to have an early spring and most of our snow is gone but the temps are still hovering quite low.  Still brrrrrrrr but my card made me feel warmer somehow.  LOL!!  😀

Thanks for coming by!

Ula Swishy Tail - Clear Polymer Stamp set

When I first started this ocean themed card I had no idea where it was going to take me but by using layers and more layers, I'm extremely happy with the end result.

The very first thing I did was color up this image, (Ula Swishy Tail available as a clear polymer stamp set) using my Prismacolor pencil crayons and picking some papers to match.  I've used pieces from Starfish & Sandcastles and Mermazing Ocean but have you seen all the ocean themed digi papers in the store?!!  MERMAZING!!!  The selection is 😲!!

I found some ocean pieces and cut them with my Silhouette, then colored using my copics.

I figured I needed a nice big anchor so I cut one, again using my Silhouette, then I covered it with a paper using the Mermazing Ocean again.  Starting to really love my Silhouette lately and am using it more for things like this and oooooo shaped cards!!  You still can't beat the quick use of a die tho.

Here are where my layers start, adhering pop up dots for each.  As I added the 2 pieces of ribbon to the middle layer, I realized that now, the top layer will have to be higher but this allowed me to sneak the hemp netting under the top right layer so it worked out perfectly.

Here you can see a side view (which you wouldn't notice unless you deliberately flip it on it's side) and by the time I added some hemp netting to my anchor, it's about 1/2" high.  No, it's not ideal for mailing but sometimes you have that special person who you can hand deliver to so go nuts with layers!

Because this card has so many built up layers, it allowed me to add some real seashells.  That was great because I've had a stash of those FOREVER!!  I even got to add a fair size clear gem as well.  More stash.  🤣

I hope you've enjoyed my card for today!!  Do you make layered or CAS cards and which do you find easiest if you do both?  I do both but YIKES, I find CAS cards very challenging!!  That's an incredible talent all in it's own.

Thanks for popping by!
Hugs,
Eulanda
