Snowball Kisses

I'm sharing another shaker card with you because I am seriously hooked!!!  😀😀 The first thing I did was add some distress oxide ink to the pretty "Snowflake Flurry" stencil for the wintery background.  I covered the finished background with my acetate, filled it with shaker contents and then proceeded to complete the card on the outside of the shaker.

I'm using an image from the super cute new "Snowball Kisses" stamp set and this one I've coloured up using my Prismacolor pencil crayons.  I'm not sure if you can see it but I've added glossy accents to give his ski goggles a shine.  😂😂

The "Merry Christmas" sentiment is also from the same collection.

I felt like I need just a little bit more for my scene so I added a stack of pom pom's to the lower left corner.  Hee Hee .... he's ready for a snowball fight!!

Here is a video of the shaker.  I found the shaker material a little tight in this particular card so next time I will take into consideration the height of all my contents.  I don't usually need to add a double layer of 3D foam but that might be an option I would consider next time.

I hope today's card has helped inspire you to get crackin' on those xmas cards.  They really are my favourite to create but what about you?  What are you favourite cards to create?

Hugs,
Eulanda

MFT Sending Christmas Joy

Sharing a card I made a few weeks ago and the recipient finally got it.  It was a challenge a friend put out to me on how I would use this die from MFT "Sending Christmas Joy".   I do have a few more idea's in mind for this one!  I also used the relatively new release "Present Time" snowmen.  They're so cute!

I wanted to make the sentiment really pop so I used 4 layers of 120lb cardstock.

For the last layer I die cut one layer using some white glitter paper.  OOooooooo ... aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh!  ðŸ˜‚😂

The background was really easy because I already had it made.  LOL!!  What a cheater huh?  At first I thought so too, then I thought "work smarter, not harder".  One day I made a bunch of different distress ink backgrounds.  I'm running low so it looks like I need to do it again soon!

Enjoy your day!
Hugs,
Eulanda

MFT Merry & Bright

I wanted to play with a new set of stamps I got from MFT called "Cozy Companions".  Honestly I really only bought it for the fireplace.  LOL!!  It turned out to be a really great masculine xmas card just by adding some garland to the staircase (my sister thought the top angle cut is where you'd be walking up the stairs - 😀) and some fireplace decorations.  Well and the addition of the "Merry & Bright" sentiment just set it right off!  🎄

Again I decided to join the MFT sketch challenge #513 with a few little tweaks of my own.

Are you getting your xmas cards ready yet?
Thanks for peeking!!

MFT Merry Wishes

Tell me you didn't just go "awwwwwww"....cuz I sure did when I finished the card.  I think tho, it has a lot to do with these cute little creatures!  I've use MFT's "Merry Wishes" stamps and the paper is from Photoplay's Christmas Cheer 6 x 6 paper pad.  It's AWESOME!!

I've coloured with my copics again....they're just so quick and easy but I should try my Zig Clean Brush markers.  I bet these images would be easy to use them with and super cute.  For some details I've added liquid pearls to the tree, stickles to the snow on the cabin and bird's pom pom and some glossy accents on the cabin.  All these minor details just add so much to a card don't ya think?

A closer look a that super cute cabin.  Oooooo bet it's so cozy inside with fireplace going, sitting on the couch with a hot chocolate and Bailey's and a blanket over your lap while watching snowflakes fall through the windows.  Sigh.....I wish snow gave me that amazing feeling year round.  🤣🤣

I hope you like this even tho it is a bit simpler for me because I'm enjoying making them.  It's nice to be able to get 2 of these done in the time it takes me to do 1 for my other style.  A few years ago someone had mentioned to me that a certain CHA was all about quick and easy.  At the time I couldn't understand ... what?  Why?!  Now I get it.  🤣🤣🤣😂😂

Thanks for stopping by!

Eulanda

Thanks A Latte!

I needed a relatively quick card but I also wanted to play with my new Tonic Coffee Die & Shaker that I got from Scrap N Stamp Canada!  3 other shakers might have ended up in my basket too!  😳😂😂  So I had to go searching online for some digital papers when I stumbled upon the Graciellie Design online store.  There are some very nice paper packs as well as digi's there so I was pretty happy!!  This set of papers is Coffee Lovers Digital Paper pack.

I added some Picket Fence sequins from Scrap 'n Stamp but I don't think I'm done purchasing those either.  They have some new mixes and I'm likin' them a lot!

I added some glossy accents to the Tim Holtz spoon then covered with distress stickles to make it appear there's still sugar on the spoon.  The little sugar cubes are real sugar cubes that I filed down to size to fit.  By the way, those sugar cubes are freakin' tough!!  I thought I might have to go through a couple of broken ones but nope!!  Just filed them down and voila!!

I hope you've enjoyed my card.  Thanks a latte for stopping by!!!  😀

A Beary Mice Surprise

Just a card I had shared on FB but I didn't add it onto my blog.  As the title of the post says, this image is "A Beary Mice Surprise" from Di's Digital Stamps.  She also has a pre-coloured image if you're in a hurry or you're not into colouring so much.  LOL!

I made a super cute confetti shaker card.  I cut the YUM sentiment 4 times in white and then once in teal.  I realized it needed a bit more zip so I added some stickles to the top.

I coloured this image using my copics and also learned some of my techniques form Kit & Clowder.  She has some really amazing classes.  In fact, I would say they are the best but she has some Create & Learn monthly classes where you can learn lots as well for a mere $20!!  Great pricing!!

Enjoy your Sunday!  I'm off to colour!  YAY!
Hugs,
Eulanda
