Little Hop of Horrors

Canadian Nickel Scrap’n “Little Hop of Horrors” Halloween Blog Hop

There's lots to HOP about!
Photobucket
YOU MADE IT!

Wozers this blog hop is BIG!!!  BUT!!  So are the prizes!!  Hopefully you will have time to make your way through to everyone and leave some luvin' to increase your chances of winning these grand prizes!!  Also, the ideas these ladies are showing are fabulous!!

You should be just crawling in from Debbie P's Place but if you are just starting your haunt you'll want to creep over to Barb's, she holds the key to your escape!

My project for today is a cute little popcorn treat holder.  I used Lola Mummy from Simply Betty Stamps, available in rubber only.

So AFTER I was half done my project I figured I should have done a tutorial on the box at least.  If you are curious, let me know and I'll post a quick tutorial cuz it's really easy!  I did make my own caramel popcorn and found out I hate making anything sticky!!  I used the Martha Stewart drippy goo border punch and Spellbinders new Halloween Fence and distressed it with ink.  My sentiment comes from my great friend CHERI!!

TIP**** I wrapped my box with gauze - try to use gauze that isn't stretchy.  It'll work but just be careful not to stretch it very tight cuz it will make your box bow in or bow out.

All About Betty Blog Hop

ALL ABOUT BETTY BLOG HOP

The gals from The Burtonesque Dolls, Simply Betty Stamps and Simply Betty Challenges figured it was a good time to put together a blog hop for our very own

SIMPLY BETTY!

October is Betty's favorite month and since there is so much happening in October why not do it just before?!!  This way we can get things warmed up for the whole October and Halloween theme.  Kinda like an appie!!

Since Halloween is her favorite time of year you will be seeing mostly, if not all,  Halloween cards and as well, we have all used an image of only the Betty Emo's.

Betty you are such a generous, kind, giving, thoughtful, warm, talented friend and I so appreciate the way you are!!  I just wanted to say thanks for everything you`ve allowed me to be a part of over the past while and let you know it`s very much appreciated.  I have had such a wonderful time and am looking forward to continuing a wonderful friendship.

Congratulations on your new blog and I wish you all the continued success you so rightly deserve!!!  Your images are absolutely FANTASTIK and so much fun to work with!!  Thanks for bringing me closer to the dark side.  LOL!!  It`s not so dark after all!!

So I decided to use the very first Emo Betty along with some fab Bo Bunny papers.  I kinda made it a cutesy card this time but I absolutely luv this image.

Without further ado, let's check out some more inspiring cards from all the ladies.  Please note because this is an appreciation blog hop there are no prizes.  It's just for fun but the ladies would love some luvin' from you anyway!!

So LET'S GET HOPPING!!  Your first stop is Cheri!!!

OH AND!!!!  I would like to thank Tanya for the inspiration for this card, from her card.  Thanks Tanya!!!

Simply Betty Challenge #3

Simply Betty Challenge #3
Non-traditional Colors!!

This week we have such a neat challenge for you and I know a DT member or two had a bit of trubs with this one. I suppose that's why it's called a challenge cuz believe me, even WE have troubles sometimes!!

The idea is NOT to use the traditional colors of orange, purple, black or green for your project but to come up with a new color combo for Halloween. As you can see I chose brown and pink!!  It's one of my favorite combo's but I really used it cuz I luv the paper I used for it. [See deets below]  This is Drew from the Punky Teens digi line at Simply Betty Stamps.  Isn't she wonderfully wicked?!!!

THIS WEEK'S PRIZE:

*******Halloween Emos in RUBBER are now in and ready to ship so if you've been eyeballing a MUST HAVE make your way over to Simply Betty  Stamps to check it out!!

So what do yo think?!  I would LOVE to see your non-traditional colors as I have made sooooo many lately with the traditional colors.

Check out all the beauty inspiration over at Simply Betty Stamps challenge blog.  I LUV THEM!!  Also check out all the details for this challenge over there as well!!

I've also used a very cool sentiment that my IRL friend Cheri made up.  Thanks Cheri!!
