Tickled Pink Stamps is sponsoring Paper Sundaes Challenge blog and I was lucky to be their guest designer for this challenge, which is...........[drum roll please]...........
Shabby Chic/Vintage!
So just to be clear, I looked up the meaning because I was really hoping this Lil Victorian Steampunk Lolita Lilith would qualify. You can purchase her at Tickled Pink Stamps.
"Shabby chic is a style of decoration that purposefully looks worn, vintage or antique. Sometimes the items are legitimately vintage, and other times, they are manufactured that way."
Ok YAY!!! Cuz that's what I was going for here. My favorite part about this card is that my sister wanted it....okay wait wait!! ha ha ha! No, it was the little tiles!! I bought them at a scrapbook store and am sorry to say they had no manufacturer on them other then "Made in China". I added some distressing and OMG they're cute! And pretty much everything is Tim Holtz. No addiction here. LOL!
And don't you just love that gold combo?! I colored her with Copics and the gold color is thanks to Suzanne Dean. Y00, 11, 15, YR23 and she added YR24 but both my YR23 and YR24 are exactly the same. I don't think that's right but whatever.
So please check out the challenge at Paper Sundaes this week and check out the design team too. They are amazing!! Thanks for having me as your GDT for this challenge!!
I want to thank Angela from In My Quiet Time for the coloring inspiration. She is absolutely AMAZING!! THANKS AMY!
