Live and Love Crafts Pins and Pearls

Ok here is a card that challenged me!  This week at LLC pins and pearls were our inspiration.  That's not the part that challenged me.  I made the card for a friend and grad colors were gold, yellow and black.  THAT was the challenge!!  Not a super vintagey card (I'm sure that's not a word but it works for me - lol) but I've used lots of supplies from Live and Love Crafts.  I started out with some older papers from Maja Design's "Crea Diem" collection.  Very pretty!

My pins are all in my bouquet.  3 of them are pearl pins new to LLC and my 4th pin is holding my tiny "2012" tag.  A little hard to see because it has reflections on it.  Oooops hee hee.  Love the blackberries and all those extra flowers to which I added a touch of Gesso.  I also looped a few rounds of black pearls from LLC under my Prima flower I had in my stash.

AND I found a big gold tassel hidden in my stash too and who would have figured that years later it would have come in handy?!  And I tell myself I should purge my crafting supplies!!  What am I thinking?  LOL!!  The feather and ink well are Tim Holtz dies which I added some crackle paint to.
The image is called "Grad Girl 2012" from Saturated Canary and colored with my Copics.

One last picture!!  How can I NOT show you these gorgeous laces?!!  So pretty with the rhinestones on there!

Before I take off I want to let you know these papers are now available at LLC:

Well that's all I have to share today!!  I hope you have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by!

HUGS!

PS What size cards are you making these days? I only ask because I can't believe that you can fit all this stuff onto a 6 x 6?
