Welcome To Tara's Blog Hop!!

HAPPY FRIDAY PEOPLES!!  Wooooooooo!!!!!!!
If you have arrived from Carla's blog you are on the right path.

Today's blog hop is a little different as it isn't about new images or prizes but all about one very special person and friend "TARA"!!!  This fun gal group got together to wish her a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!  One of her favorite, and I really mean FAVORITE things is coffee!  COFFEE COFFEE COFFEE!!  I think one of MY favorite things about this group of people (including the birthday girl) is that we are not only blogging and scramping friends but we all know each other IN REAL LIFE!!  How lucky are we?

So Tara I hope you have a super fabulous day today and spend the day well ... mostly the way you want it.  Treat yourself to an extra coffee cuz you are so deserving!!  Oh and in case you are wondering....yes, this one IS in the mail making it's way to you!!  BIG BIRTHDAY HUGS!

I also wish I could be there to give you this birthday cake.  Being that you are a super fan of coffee what a better one to send your way then this?

I hope you have enjoyed what you've seen so far and now just a few more to finish this blog hop off.  SO, on to your next talented crafter, my wonderful friend Tanya!!

I'd also like to post this to Cute Card Thursday's challenge #129 of Play on Words.  Check it out for yourself!!  Love that little challenge blog!!

Creative Accents Challenge

Creative Accents, my favorite LSS, is hosting a challenge if you would like to see the details on their blog.  The basic idea is to use old supplies mixed with new supplies.  I came up with a stand up card and you can find the tutorial at Splitcoast Stampers called Free Standing Pop-Up Card.

My "new" is Earth Love dp by Cosmo Cricket and ribbon and my "old" is my poor neglected Hanna Stamp.  I really need to quit buying stamps and use what I have.  Ya right!!!  LOL!!

My first image is folded as if it were in an envelope getting mailed and the 2nd image is when it's all folded out and is standing.  Cute!

Stamps: Hanna Stamps
Paper: Bazzill and Earth Love by Cosmo Cricket
Embellishments: Earth Love Ribbon, Prima Flowers
Punches: MS Leaf punches
Ink: Colored With Copics and Momento Ink

Ski Bunny - Hanna Stamps

I am playing with this stamp again because I have no idea how long the snow will last so I must use my snow stamps now. Ok, ok the snow isn't going anywhere for awhile, I was just wishing. Good grief!! I created this sample for my LSS who sells Hanna Stamps. She is so stinking cute!!

Ski Bunny - Hanna Stamps

I completely cased this card but it was fun! I did a search on Splitcoast Stampers and found a bunch but this was my favorite! Check out Cami's blog at Stamp a Little Love Baby! She has great work on there! Thanks for the inspiration! I used Copics clear glitter on her fluffy hat and ski's and silver Copic pen on her goggle frames, poles and boot straps.

Hanna Stamps

I made this one for the janitors at work. We have 10 of them so I wanted something quick and easy and hopefully this will be okay. My husband says the bg is too white so I think I will add a piece of ribbon where the card is embossed near the bottom using the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug embossing folder. I can't get enough of those!! Last year the ladies in the office each chipped in a few bucks and we did up mugs filled with yummies as a thanks for cleaning our offices all year. They just loved it! If you have any more tips or suggestions for me please let me know. It's hard to make this stamp into xmas.....thanks!!

Hanna Stamps - A Little Break For Me

This card was just plain fun. After coloring the image, I added some Stickles to her dress for some "cafe pizzaz" and crackle to her headband, shoes and the table. The table is 3-d'ed and oh yes, I even put Stickles on the green dots....the bg paper. I love the colors!!!
