DH's Birthday Card

Thank goodness my DH doesn't have my blog.  hee hee This way I can post as his birthday is tomorrow and here is his birthday card today!  I did my first side step card, which you can find instructions for here and check out other samples at Splitcoast Stampers Gallery using "side step" as your search description.

The grass is a Magnolia stamp (hee hee), the rocks are from a rock wall that I cut out from a Magnolia stamp, the trees are Stampin' Up "Lovely As A Tree" and the 4-wheeler is from CTMH (thanks Cheri!).  Oh and the sentiment if from SU also.  I'm very happy with how it turned out and thank goodness cuz it took me a long time!

Stamps:  Magnolia, CTMH & SU
Paper: Bazzill
Embellishments:  Scrapper's Floss, Misc brads and Maya Road chipboard stars covered with Crackle gloss and corkboard paper.
Punches:  OMG I didn't use even one punch on this!!  Oh wait!  The little circles under the brown brads was Quickutz.
Ink: Colored With Copics and Momento Ink

Isn't this just the CUTEST EVAH?!!  My mom sent this to me and my DH for Valentine's Day.  She even did the inside with some bg paper and little butterflies!!  I LOVE this card!  It has so many extra's on it.  The gems in the center of the heart and the heart charm are so sweet!  Her coloring is dang perfect too!  I got her hooked on Copics.  I'd say sorry but she loves them.  hee hee

I WON I WON!

I am so excited!!  I just found out I won the Motivet challenge of 3 stamps for this card & sketch here

I would love to encourage you guys to join these challenges.  Their sketches make it easy to build a card and they only have about 30 - 40 entries a week!!  The chances of winning, or winning 2nd place is very very high!  2nd place is a random draw for 2 free stamps so it's anybody's game.

If you don't have a Motivet stamp, download the new cute kitty image right from their website (under Freebies on the l/h side) and join in.

They are very generous and if you even comment on any post during the week, your name goes in for a random draw of 5 stamps.

*****************YES!  5 STAMPS!!*****************

I hope you'll play Week #6 challenge!  It's this sketch - cute or what?!!!

Whiff Of Joy Challenge #66

For WOJ's # 66 challenge they gave us a sketch and I decided to use Fall Willow.  She's so adorable!  Thanks for the sketch Jane!  I love the BG's new "Origins" paper so much I thought I'd try it again!  I love how the paper has so many colors for you to pull from.
I know a few people have mentioned giving a list of Copics or a picture so here is what I used.  It's a bit tough for me to make them all nice to show you because the Ciao markers don't have the lettering and numbers on the end but hopefully this gives you and idea.

Stamps: Fall Willow from Whiff of Joy, Sentiment from My Favorite Things
Paper: Bazzill & Basic Grey's Origins
Embellishments: BG Opaline pearls, Michael's "Recollections" gemstone brad, Prima Flowers, Bazzill flower, misc pins, Wright's lace from Walmart and spacers from The Hobby House (UK)
Punches: Quickutz circles, Martha Stewart border and Labels 4 nestie.
Ink: Colored With Copics and Momento Ink
