OK BUT FIRST I want to genuienly thank all of you for your wonderful comments.  You make me feel so lucky to have such great people being a part of my blog as you guys.  It was very nice to get a few new people join up and fellow Canadians!!  I am touched that people as far away as the UK and Brazil and more are viewing my little piece of the WWW.  This is just amazing!

Cute Card Thursday Sketch Challenge

I love when Cute Card Thursday has a sketch for their challenge cuz they are usually really good ones.  This week we're using a sketch from Claudia Rosa and if you've never been to her blog, Pretty Pressings, you really must go.  After you're done here of course.  LOL!

Of course, once again I turned the sketch sideways.  I'm going to enter this one into Stamptacular Sunday again.  Father's day!  This is my last father's day card and it's going to my FIL!  YES!  I'M ON TIME!  I could have done them all the same and been done sooner but...gosh that's boring!!

Award Day!

Well!!  I got some awards today and they both came from my new Canadian friend Nicole at Canadian Nickel Scrap'n.  I met Nicole through The Burtonesque Dolls challenge blog as she is one of the other DT members and wouldn't you know it?  She's my neighbor in the next province over.  COOL!  Check out her blog if you like.  She's got some great projects on there, including giveaways!!  Thanks Nicole!

Please grab your award, post it on your blog, select five new recipients, and write five things about yourself!

1) My favorite thing - "I'm a twin"
2) I hate having ink STAIN my stamps.  Anal or what?!!  LOL
3) I don't have kids....yes, on purpose.  :)
4) I take my Copics camping.
5) I love Christmas!

These ladies all have super talents and I love all their work.  Some are real life friends too and great inspirations!!  Ok, all are real life friends - lol!  So I am sending these awards to all these ladies:

Father's Day Challenges

I'm sure that right now I could go crazy with entering my card into every father's day challenge out there but I'm not so sure how people keep track!  LOL!

So for this card I've used Friday Sketchers sketch but I turned this sketch to the left:

and am entering into Stamptacular Sunday Challange who says:

"For this week’s challenge you will create a card or project with a guy/man on it. If you create your card or project for your father or someone else’s father for Father’s Day, you’ll be entered in to our drawing TWICE to double your chances of winning our fabulous prize this week!"

This father's day card is for my step-dad, who is pretty much this relaxed a LOT.  He's a VERY laid back kind of guy.  I've known him for many years and don't ever remember seeing him mad.  Maybe once.  Not sure.  LOL!

I've used Karen's Doodles "Time To Relax" so will also enter into that challenge as well!!  SUMMERTIME!  Yippee!!

Stamps:  Karen's Doodles "Time to Relax"
Paper:  (sorry can't remember)
Embellishments:  SU buttons, Scrapper's floss and beer eyelets
Punches:  Martha Stewart border punch
Ink: Colored With Copics

Magnolia Challenges

For the Just Magnolia Week 50 challenge there was this sketch:

Yay!!  I have finally had time to come up with a Magnolia card!  Oh I could hear my poor Maggie's crying up a storm in their storage cases.  LOL!  So!!  I thought I would join a few challenges and the first being Magnola Birthday Bash's challenge of "Bling It" so I have blinged eveywhere.  I even have Stickles on my layers, Stickles in the middle of my sunflower, her dress, around some of my butterflies, on my flowers, gems around my ovals and lots of pearls.   Can you ever go wrong with pearls?
