Birthday Wishes

I had to make a birthday card for my MIL's friend and wouldn't you know it?  Another purple card.  Hmmm....interesting.  LOL!!  I didn't color this but I used one of those LOTV's "Mice Are Nice" die cut sheets for a quick card.  Ok, it wasn't THAT quick but I did eliminate the few hours of time spent coloring the image.  Besides, they're super cute!

I added my own zipper flower and just an assortment of Wild Orchid flowers.  As if you can't tell already they are one of my favorite embellishments!!  Love the new border die from Magnolia and the Spellbinders "Fleur de Lis Squares" die as well.

I think I'll enter this card into Wild Orchid Flowers - "Anything Goes" challenge.

Thanks for looking!  Eulanda

I just wanted to share this card that I made for Designed To Color April/May edition. Love this Saturated Canary image and used lots of extra's with her. After I colored her, she reminded me of a horror show I watched. I think it was called The Grudge. Creepy!! LOL!!  But she's cuter then that.

Ryan's 15th

So here I was dreading another boy's card .... UGH!!  And 15 no less so that age seems to be even harder but I think I pulled it off again!  LOL!!  Phew!  Used some papers from Bo Bunny called "Weekend Market" collection, added some textured layers, some odds & ends and a ball and tee cut using my Silhouette.  "PAR-FECT"

I'm entering into 2 challenges:

Kenny K's Krafty Girlz Challenges - Pearls and I have used Liquid pearls here.  Who would have thought to add pearls to a boy's card.  hee hee

I was inspired by this sketch from Papertake Weekly:

Well thanks for stopping by to check this one out.
Have a wonderfully creative week!!

CLP #48

Another lovely sketch at CLP this week!!  You must check it out and since we've picked up a number of new members on the DT there are lots of pieces of inspiration to take a peek at.

Today on my card I've used this lovely dragon image from the Princes and Princesses Magnolia collection and she's called "Lilyrose".  I can NOT take credit for the lovely coloring.  A friend of mine, Cheri or as some of you know her as Graphicat Designs, was here a few weeks back and colored her up but wasn't going to make a card with her so I snatched it up and VOILA!  Don't we make a good team?  LOL!!

I'm a bit short on time today but just had to quickly join you to enter into CLP's challenge for the coming month.  Enjoy your weekend all!!

Waterlily Tilda

So as you may have noticed my blog has been pretty quiet lately.  I have been away but am also just taking a break from my regular DT duties (except CLP).  I need to rejuvenate the creative flow as I just found everything to be more of a deadline and obligation then fun.  It always comes back tho.  :)  Good thing because I have a room full of product.  LOL!   Sorry I haven't been around to visit you but I'll be back to that as well.

I will occasionally post from time to time but it will be cards that I do just for fun.  YAY!  I'm trying to learn how to distress ink color and so far it's been a challenge but learning Copics didn't come easy either so practice, practice, practice.  This was my first decent image that I could actually use after about 10.  I just love the softness of distress inks.  So pretty when it's done right.  LOL!  I just need to figure out how to add some more shading but that will come.

This is a new image called "Waterlily Tilda" from the Summer Memories Magnolia collection.  I think she's one of my favorites!  I added some Stickles to the water, wings of the tiny butterflies and a smidgen on the ribbon in her hair.

I'm going to enter her in the following challenges:

Card Makin' Mamas - May Flowers
Magnolia Stamp Lovers - Hip to be Square - square card
Tilda's Town - A new challenge blog - Anything Goes**

Well off to make some blueberry muffins and go for a walk!  Hope you all enjoyed your weekend!  Hugs!
