Merry Christmas to the Dunbars!

I have been waiting and waiting and waiting to share but I wanted to make sure it got to the recipient first and FINALLY!  She may as well live in Alaska for crying out loud!  Ok I'm done buggin you Chris.  LOL!!

Look at that!  I used my favorite winter snowflake punch from Tim Holtz.  The star was from Kaisercraft (I think), the little stars are from Southern Ridge Trading Company and I covered them with white acrylic paint and then with that Viva Decor stuff.  Oh and the paper is from Bo Bunny.  Thanks Buddie!!  If you click on the picture you can see the glitter on the ice better.  I had a hard time giving this card up.  LOL!!  But I knew it was going to a great home.

Happy Birthday Sheri!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR SHERIIIIII,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!

Can you imagine having a birthday so close to Christmas?  I thought November was close enough!!  Well I hope you have a wonderful day and have fun doing at least 3 of your favorite things today.  Maybe more.  LOL!!  Enjoy!

Another image I colored not too long ago from my sister's stash.  She is so stinkin' cute!

I've used lots of gorgeous embellies from Wild Orchid flowers, Southern Ridge Trading Company (the chipboard reindeer), rose ribbon and gorgeous Bo Bunny paper.  And don't you just LOVE that border?!  It's a new Magnolia Doohickey die called Christmas Lace and still available at Magnolia-licious.

Just a quick post to share as I have quite a few more to share with you over the next few weeks.  I will get to share some of my latest Christmas creations as people should be getting them soon.  Yay!!

Enjoy your day!

Merry SC Christmas Simone!

(If you are looking for the Magnolia-licious Highlites blog hop and scavenger hunt click here)

I made this pretty in purple card for my sister and she just loved it!!  Funny thing is we both used the same Saturated Canary image called "Candy Canes".  Check out the one she made for me.  GORGEOUS!  I used some Magnolia papers and the Magnolia "Slender Firs" that I got for my bday this year.  I even added some Martha Stewart Texture to the tips and covered with glitter.

I used this amazing sleigh cut by a new small business called Southern Ridge Trading Company.  I painted it white and then added the glitter and it just sparkles!  The flowers are cut from my Silhouette and the wooden snowflakes are from Studio Calico.  Yup they've been on my last few cards and I'm addicted.  LOL!  Love my good old standby snowflake border die from Tim Holtz.

I'd like to share my card into the following challenges:

Magnolia Tag Blog Hop and Scavanger Hunt

WELCOME WELCOME!!

Are you enjoying the hop/hunt so far?  It's been awhile since I've been in one and I forgot how much fun they are!!  You were probably brought here from Sharon's blog (didn't she have the sweetest card?) but if you want to start from the beginning and join in you'll have to go back to the Magnolia-licious High-lites blog

We have 2 challenges going on within this hop.  One is a scavenger hunt and the second is a challenge and there will be $50 prizes to Magnolia-licious store for both!  Worth playing for?  I think so!  We would love to see you play either one, or even better, both of them!

So we are working with INTERACTIVE TAGS.  I've snuck a tag into the top left corner of my card using a Magnolia Doohickey, as well as the tag I cut from my Silhouette on the bottle of Bailey's.

My image is Tilda with Ribbon Heart Scarf and I used the new Snowy Forest Doohickey dies and covered them with Twinklets.  I also covered the wooden snowflakes from Studio Calico and covered them with Crackle Accents.  If you click on the picture for a close up I think you can see it better.

Again I used the Snowy Forest die with a sentiment from LOTV for my Bailey's tag.

So your next hop is over to Norma Lee, who's work I am a personal huge fan of!  I'm sure she'll have something incredible just waiting for you.

THANK YOU FOR VISITING!!

Magnolia-licious Pink Christmas Challenge

I LOVED THIS CHALLENGE!

Or should I say I loved how my card turned out?  LOL!  It took me about 4 hours to color this thing.  I KNOW!!  I'm soooo slow!  Sometimes I think the most time consuming part is actually picking your colors out but it was fun!! I thought these 2 images were so cute together.  Looks like the reindeer was a little escapee and Tilda went to grab him to take him back in.   Very much like my indoor cat.  LOL!

I used "Tilda w/Little Rudolf" from the Christmas Story 2012 collection and paired it up with "Welcome to a Sweet Christmas" from the Sweet Christmas 2011 collection.  I was happy to color it up as I got it last year and never had a chance to until now.  I also used the new "Slender Firs" doohickey dies from Magnolia-licious.  I am just in love with these things!  They go well with the "Snowy Forest", which you'll see in my next project soon.  hee hee

Again I got to provide the inspiration picture for this challenge.  Funny thing about that!  I picked it in September thinking that some of the new Christmas papers coming out would have pink in them.  NOTHING!!  I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT!  But I finally found some digi papers from Bearly Mine Designs and used "Christmas Delight".  Very pretty!!

You should see all the PINK at the Magnolia-licious challenge blog.  EYE CANDY FOR SURE!!  Pop on over and take a peek and give the girls a little luv if you have time.  Again Diana will be giving away:

Also, you should see all the colored images at Magnolia-licious store.  Makes a big difference on seeing how an image might look after it's colored or maybe help in giving you and idea on how to color something if you're stuck.

I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges:
