Sophie's Rose

Every month I bring you a card using Michele R Design papers and this month I'm sharing an older set but one of my favorites called "Sophie's Rose".  I wanted to show more papers and what a better way than to use a card art template from Dutch Doobadoo available from Noor! Design UK.  Also, there's a HUGE 40% off sale on many items that I REALLY wish I could be getting 40% off after buying them all at regular price.  LOL!!

More pieces of paper from Sophie's Rose and the
butterflies are from "Sophie's Rose Elements Pack 2".

I colored this Magnolia image using my distress inks AGAIN!
Stuck on those things it seems.  LOL!

Thanks for stopping by!!!

MAN CARD

These ones are ALWAYS tough to make for everyone but I tell you - this paper will make it SO EASY!!  Pion came out with a collection called Mr. Tom's Treasures and there's even images you can buy.  AWESOME!!  I bought mine from Noor! Design UK.

I used a sketch from the Noor! Design Challenge Group but I turned mine sideways.  We were also challenged to use this Rectangular Frame 6002/0356, WHICH BY THE WAY, IS ON SALE THIS WEEK at Noor! Design UK!   Just sayin'.  GOL!!

DON'T YOU JUST LOVE THE AIRPLANE?!!  I bought it from Southern Ridge Trading Company at a crop but if it's not on her website she can still send it.  All I did was covered it with black Stampendous embossing powder and it has flecks of gold and silver in it.  Cool huh?!

How do you like my little spark plug?!!  ha ha ha So cute love those!

Ok there's my MAN card!

Thanks for stopping by!!
Have a great week!

Used all kinds of things here - Prima flowers, Wild Orchid flowers, berries and lace from Live and Love Crafts and sugar berries from Noor! Design UK.

Paper is Glitz - Vintage Blue and I colored this image with Copics.

First Snow

Time to get going on some xmas cards!  REALLY??!!  Well ... yes.  LOL!  And Christmas will get here soon and I still won't have enough!  I could do JUST xmas cards from now until then and never have enough!  Cuz let's face it, who wouldn't love to get a Christmas card?!

My first one to show you is starring "First Snow" by Krista of Saturated Canary.  She's so sweet!  Get these images while you can as she will be shutting her store at the end of August.  Sad but understandable.  This one is on sale for $2.50 USD right now.  I've used this awesome mitten card art from Dutch Doobado and you can find a whoooole lotta these card art templates at Noor! Design UK.  I LOVE them!  They are far cheaper than buying the shaped dies but I love those too.  I can just have more of these.  LOL!

Isn't this snowflake die something?!!  I got it late last year and didn't get the chance to use it until now.  One of my favorites!!!  I did get another new one already but I'll reveal that one later.   Yikes!  LOL!  Isn't that purple daisy pretty?!   Eeeeee!!!  Luv them!

And the tree dies and snowflake die is from Noor! Design UK.  See a pattern here?  Noooo, not my favorite store AT ALL!  LOL!

A little distress ink coloring and these colors are:

Coat - Dusty Concord
Jeans etc - Faded Jeans
Hair - Walnut Stain
Mittens - Hickory Smoke

And why not add another one to the post?!!  Again with using the mitten card art template and more dies from Noor! Design UK - Winter sentiment, Santa and his sleigh, Reindeer dies and the snowflake border.

Added a few cute Wild Orchid flowers and a Tim Holtz sentiment.  Hard to see but I did add a bunch of Stickles all over.  As usual, things look better IRL.  The pearl and blue lace come from Live and Love Crafts.  Sandie's got an incredible selection of gorgeous laces!!

And another image done with distress inks (see colors below)  Will I ever switch back over to Copics?  Yes, when using red because I can't seem to find a good red I like yet with the DI's but it'll come.  LOL!  And yes anyway.  I think my Copics are screaming.  I'm sure that's the muffled sound I hear coming from my craft room.  LOL!

DI colors used:

Ok so I WAS gonna add one more winter card but I'll save it.  LOL!  Besides, I've been writing my post up for a good part of the hour now so off I go but thanks for stopping by!

Hugs!

Chloe

So with the US exchange driving our prices up here in Canada of virtually EVERYTHING, I find it hard these days to be buying any rubber images.  Most of them end up costing around $20 per stamp.  If I only ever make 2 cards using that image, it cost me $10 JUST FOR THE IMAGE!  Soooo, it certainly makes it a great time to be dipping back into my old stash!!  I'm pretty sure I never did color this cutie up.  How could I not she's freakin' adorable?!!!

Here I've used a gorgeous leaf die from Noor! Design Uk, some Wild Orchid flowers and a sweet little clay heart from Live and Love Crafts.

Love these little spools from Live and Love Crafts that you can wind with perfect papers from Pion Designs or even Maja.  They have some too.

I colored Chloe with some distress inks and you can find her at Whimsy Stamps.  So sweet!

Thank you for stopping by and have a great week!
Hugs!

Romantic Shabby Chic

Helllooooooo!!!  I'm here today to share a card using some super gorgeous papers from Michele R Designs called Romantic Shabby Chic and they were perfect!  I'm also showing you an image from an artist you've probably never seen before.  Her name is Patty Greif and she has the cutest digi stamps with great variety too.  This image is called "Dollyta Gothy Moon" and if you follow her Facebook page or watch her store HERE you can catch her having sales on them too.

I used a tassel die from Noor! Design UK and cut using some of the digi papers from the Romantic Shabby Chic kit.  You can also see the postcard layered just ahead of the star dies and that's from the Elements Pack 2 .  There are also some wonderful sentiments in that kit as well.

The bows from each of Michele's kits are so stinkin' cute and only take a few minutes to cut out.  They are in the Elements Pack 1 along with some other very usable pieces.

Thanks for stopping by this week!!
I always appreciate your comments and time it takes for you to stop by!!
Hugs!
