Simply Betty Stamps Preview Blog Hop

Good morning all you SBS fans!!  If you've come to my blog from the oh so ever creative Debbie P's Place (oh she's good isn't she?) then you're on the right track!

Today's blog hop brings us NEW stamps brought to you by Betty and her creative artists at Simply Betty Stamps and not 1 but 2 new SBS lines.

The first one I will show you today is Jude and his Shenanigan Crew.  Jude is Betty's little 2 year old toddler and she's based this cutie line around him.  I think that is just the sweetest!!

This image is called Mikey - which I picked because that's hubby's name.

 My second image is Lizzie.

This image is Tootsie from SBS's new line of Punky Teens.

All these fun new images you will see as you hop along are now available at Simply Betty Stamps.  Where all the Original Emo Kids Cushion Mounted Rubber is on sale.

Four lucky winners will receive three free digis of their choice from these two lines!  All you have to do is leave us some loving at Simply Betty Stamps!  Of course it is always appreciated when you leave everyone some lovin'!

Your next stop will be the super awesome GLORIA!!  Take it away GLO!!

The Burtonesque Dolls Challenge #17

I was sooooo freakin' excited about this challenge and wanted to make more but phew I was happy to get this one out.  I was thinking of making "Chocolate Covered Witches Warts".  I was going to use chocolate covered Reese's pieces.  You can buy them in little round bite sizes now....but I ate them.  :(

Willy Wonka needs help! Create a new candy box, candy bag, chocolate bar, any fun and funky new candy you would find in Willy Wonka's factory.  The possibilities are endless here.

So would you eat my Web Covered Milk Chocolate Bar???  Well you can't, I ate that too.  :)

Back to School Emo

So I actually did this card for a challenge and used their sketch.  Only problem was...it was last MAY!  BROL!!  OH MA GAWD I`m such a nerd!  I had bookmarked to this particular sketch challenge but linked the post I had seen that day and not the original blog.  ha ha ha!!  So now, I have no challenge for this.  I had spent some time looking for one, couldn`t find one and don`t care anymore.  LOL!  So today this is just a share card for your eyes.

My last Back to School Emo `Betty` card from Simply Betty Stamps`s new digi line.  These are just the cutest images!!!

I actually made an easel card!!  I popped up the little notebook sheets and same with the pencil.  Looks cool if I do say so myself!  :)

Stampin' For the Weekend Challenge

This is the first time I've entered into Stampin' For the Weekend challenge and although I didn't make the card on the weekend, I did color this  image on the weekend.  I'm sure it's not a requirement tho.  hee hee. This week's theme is "Anything Goes".  I did use the sketch from Cute Card Thursday but I was too late to enter that challenge.  DOH!

Isn't she a cutie?  This is "London" from the Back to School Emo digi line from Simply Betty Stamps.  She's a digi stamp and available now at SBS.  I love this color combo and have no idea why.  It's strange to me that it works.  LOL!

Lil Lolita Challenge #12

 A Sketch A Day...

Who doesn't love a sketch?!  Years ago a friend of mine, who we'll call her Laurel, introduced me to sketches and I've been hooked ever since!  It's very rare that I don't use one these days so it was great to see we had to use one for our next challenge at LLB!  Sorry for all the pink and black lately.  I just can't seem to get away from it.  Luuuuv the color combo!  Here's my card and sketch below:

Ya, I do realize my elements are backwards but Kellita is so tall and I just didn't want to change her.

I'm also entering my card in the challenge that
is sponsoring this week at
Haunted Design House

My card isn't exactly scary but
cute & scary works don't ya think?!  LOL!

Please check out the wonderful cards the DT made this week at LLB and join in the fun.  I challenge you to combine both of these challenges and would love to see your card!!  Let me know if you do!!  I'd gladly leave some lovin' on your blog!  :)

Stamps:  Tickled Pink Stamps "Kellita"
Paper:  TPC Studio "girlfriends phrases"
Embellishments:  Misc ribbon (thanks Debbie!!), Glow Skullz, Wild Orchid Craft flowers, Prima pearl swirls, CB web folder, and chandelier garland from 7kids College Fund.

Papertake Weekly Challenge

So I thought I would enter my first ever recipe challenge.  I've been scared of them before - lol!  And if once why not twice?

This first one is made using Simply Betty Stamps, Back To School Emo digi's "Rio", which are now available for purchase at the SBS website.  Isn't she a doll?

My recipe on this one is 3 alpha's, 2 border punch layers  and 1 flower bouquet.  For extra credit I added 4 green brads.  LOL!

This second one uses Simply Betty Stamps, Back To School Emo digi's "Miller", which are now available for purchase at the SBS website.  Isn't he a little nut?  You can't see it as well on the picture as you can IRL but the saying on the side says "Do I have a test tomorrow?"

My recipe on this one is 3 layers, 2 paper clips and 1 rockin' image.   For extra credit on this one I used 4 buttons.  hee hee  I never did this well in school.  LOL!!

There you have it!!  Stay tuned for more Back to School Emo's and for more samples of the new cards please view them at Simply Betty Stamps blog.  The blog hop was August 15th but if you'd like to take a gander at the other DT's cards the list is there.

Enjoy your last week of summer!!
