Live and Love Crafts "Ice"

Brrrrrrrrr just the WORD "ice" makes me cold however playing with pretend ice is no problem! LOL! This week at LLC we are inspired by "ICE" so I've thrown in a few icy pieces here and there.  I started out by using the very pretty Pion "Silent Night" papers.

Love this Tim Holtz snowflake border! I added a few more Memory Box snowflake dies and this gorgeous new center "Pearl Star flower" from Maya Road that is new to the store.

I punched a few Magnolia Doohickey slender trees, distressed the edges and added some Twinklets Diamond Dust on each for an icy feeling.  Love my shabby seam binding bows!

Here again with some more Twinklets covering my poinsettia's!  Also, I added some frosted berries to the centers as well as a few bunches around my bouquet.  They are soooo pretty and in lots of gorgeous colors!

Lastly here's a closer look at my image and pretty shabby blue Frantage!!  This image is "Winter's Day" from Saturated Canary and available at LDRS

I added some glitter under her feet to give the impression she's standing on ice.  Now if that were me, I'd be flat on my butt!  LOL!  Also don't you think this resin heart piece is pretty?!!  Me too!!

So are you on countdown for Christmas?  I'm not quite ready to be yet.  LOL!  I'm so glad the snow hasn't stayed so far but it should have.  Every morning I wake up and don't see it I wanna give someone a high five.  LOL!  I suspect this weekend will be it though.  YAYto making it to mid November!!

Have a wonderful and creative weekend my crafty friends!

I've colored my image using Copics and wow that was a big job!  I'm a little slow so it took about 3 hours but I was happy with my end results.  I added some glitter underneath their feet, which is great to be able to actually see in a photo.  YAY!!

I know you are heading into a wonderful hop of gorgeous creations so I am keeping this short and sweet so your next stop is Alyce.  Oh ma gosh you are in for a treat!!  Enjoy the hop and thanks for stopping by!

Live and Love Crafts "Happy"

This week at LLC we are inspired by the "Happy Whateva" theme.  Sooo, since I have MANY birthdays in October and November I thought I'd take advantage of this theme!  Last week I showed you a card for my sister's birthday.  Today I'm showing you a card I made for my MIL...who IS on the SAME DAY as my sister and I.

I thought I would go with a cute little gift set and made her the bag to match the card which held a gift certificate.

Here I am playing with more of the new papers from Maja Design "Vintage Autumn Basics".  Love these new papers!!  The image is something I found on the internet and it's perfect for her because she loves wine.  :)

Here is my "Happy" part of my card.  Like last week's card, I added some Maja paper on the backside of the Melissa Frances frame and added my "Happy" sentiment.

I don't think it takes much to make a cute little bag.  Just need a few layers of gorgeous paper, some ribbon, flowers and a nice shabby seam binding bow!!

Now I'm thinking the next card I show you should be a winter or Christmas card since it's coming up so quickly.  How does that happen every year?!  LOL!

Don't forget to join us in the NOVEMBER challenge for
a change to win!!  It's a random draw and someone has to win
so why not you?!

OH and I'd love it if you stopped by and signed up
for my November monthly giveaway!

Enjoy your weekend!!
