Live & Love Crafts - Pion's Sweet Baby

This week at LLC our inspiration is from the new "Sweet Baby" papers from Pion.  I just LOVE playing with any new vintage papers.  These papers didn't really inspire anything baby-like for me but I did want to show you how versatile these papers are.

I've paired these gorgeous papers up with an image from Pion's "Gramma's Attic/Tinted Bouquet".

I really like these Maya "Love" paperclips new to the LLC store and I'm sure you'll see them with some Frantage embossed on them in future projects.

The butterflies are from a couple of different collections of Pion's including the new Sweet Baby's papers.  After cutting them out, I distressed them and added a Tim Holtz nib to the biggest one.  One of my favorite looks!!

The material flowers are from the Maya Road Tea Garden Trim but I cut off one row because it was just the perfect color to match my card.  More Wild Orchid Crafts flowers, also available now at LLC and these gorgeous frosted berries.  Also, don't you love those Prima zipper pulls?

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you get a few minutes for some crafty time this weekend!!  Enjoy and see you in a week!

LDRS CandiBean Blog Hop

If you've hopped here from Becky's blog then yup I'm the next one!!  If not, you could actually start over at LDRS Inspiration blog, which I do suggest because it is a great hop!!

Today I'm showcasing "Penny's Little Owls" and I made a hot chocolate dispenser for warm mugs, warm hugs and warm friends.  hee hee

I've used the new "Frigid Fun" papers from LDRS, which are sporting some pretty blue's and red's for this collection.

I've also added the winter calendar from the "Frigid Fun" stamp set.

I added a handle to the top of the lid so it makes it easy to take off and replenish the hot chocolate packets.

I've used a big variety of pretty dies and even covered the edges of my Christmas stacker tree with some Twinklets I bought at Michael's.  This same design covers two sides of the box.

As always, I added a few flowers but also this pearl lace from Wild Orchid Crafts.  I've had this snowflake die cut FOREVER and finally got a chance to use it!!

So I just wanted to let you know that one lucky winner will win the whole line of the new CandiBean collection!!  HOW COOL IS THAT?!  All the details to enter are on the Little Darlings Design Team inspiration blog, where the hop has started.

MORE CANDY
I too have a little blog candy of my own and one
lucky commenter will win this cutie little CandiBean stamp called
REACH FOR THE STARS
Your next stop is Fabi and I know she'll
have something incredible for you!!

Live and Love Crafts "Ice"

Brrrrrrrrr just the WORD "ice" makes me cold however playing with pretend ice is no problem! LOL! This week at LLC we are inspired by "ICE" so I've thrown in a few icy pieces here and there.  I started out by using the very pretty Pion "Silent Night" papers.

Love this Tim Holtz snowflake border! I added a few more Memory Box snowflake dies and this gorgeous new center "Pearl Star flower" from Maya Road that is new to the store.

I punched a few Magnolia Doohickey slender trees, distressed the edges and added some Twinklets Diamond Dust on each for an icy feeling.  Love my shabby seam binding bows!

Here again with some more Twinklets covering my poinsettia's!  Also, I added some frosted berries to the centers as well as a few bunches around my bouquet.  They are soooo pretty and in lots of gorgeous colors!

Lastly here's a closer look at my image and pretty shabby blue Frantage!!  This image is "Winter's Day" from Saturated Canary and available at LDRS

I added some glitter under her feet to give the impression she's standing on ice.  Now if that were me, I'd be flat on my butt!  LOL!  Also don't you think this resin heart piece is pretty?!!  Me too!!

So are you on countdown for Christmas?  I'm not quite ready to be yet.  LOL!  I'm so glad the snow hasn't stayed so far but it should have.  Every morning I wake up and don't see it I wanna give someone a high five.  LOL!  I suspect this weekend will be it though.  YAYto making it to mid November!!

Have a wonderful and creative weekend my crafty friends!
