OK how much fun were these guys? TONNES! Every year there is a fella at work I commit to making 12 cards for him to give to his family and friends. This year I just had to make these to suit his personality though. I had so much fun with them! To make the pants was a challenge but the santa hat was from sockabellafella and pretty easy. I put Stickles on the ice cubes and had the beer eyelets from years ago. Love 'em! And once again using that favorite Figgy Pudding papers! So, for the beer fella in the house, be my guest and case away!!! :)

Lovely As A Tree
HI HI HI!! I haven't been able to post for a few weeks now. I was sick for awhile - stupid cold - then I had someone help me clean out my computer and she cleaned my picture editing program right out! My mom has the program and I had to wait for a week to borrow that and THEN my DH took the camera to Toronto for a week along with all my card pics on the camera!! I'm having update withdrawals!! So finally here are some new cards I've been working on. I sure wish glitter and bling looked better in pics but I suppose we all have that problem. C'est la vie!

Merrybella #2
So after discussing my bella with my honey, I decided to go with the traditional red and green of christmas so I posted this bella to the bellaholics December homepage contest. I really wish that you could see the detail on this. All the ornaments are glitter, her boots are liquid applique with glitter overtop, her dress and boots were crackle gloss and it just looks so much better in person. Oh well I guess I can't mail one out to every one!! Too bad!! LOL!! :)

Merrybella
MY ALL TIME FAVORITE FOR THE WEEKEND!! I love her! You might not be able to see but I used Stickles for all the ornaments, the ribbon on the pot, the top part of her dress and belt. I used Liquid Applique for her hat and boots, garnished them with more Stickles, gems on her boots and Glaze on anything else. I used Crackle Accents on her boots and skirt and up close it looks great! The patterned paper is of course, more Figgy Pudding. I'm going to now go and upload to Bellaholics December homepage so if you're not entering a card I would LOVE if you like it, if you would put a vote in for me. THANKS!!
One More Quickutz
More Quickutz
Here's another easy card I made using both Merry & Bright sets from Quickutz. Love these things!
Quickutz
For my birthday I got both new Quickutz sets. Snowday and Merry & Bright. Lucky?!! Oh yes and very happy!!! So, we figured we would try a card with only Quickutz but with little experience we decided to case one of the Quickutz samples. The cat even tried to help out but with all the fur there was nothing but glue everywhere!!
As you can see, one of our snowmen started having problems. And pretty soon our HAPPY HOLIDAYS wasn't that anymore. We had many different ways HOPPY HALIDAYS, HAPPY HO HO, etc., hee hee!! We were getting tired so we decided to go watch a movie, eat some pizza and come back after being rejuvenated. Not to say it worked but we did finally finish our batch. LOL!!! The main thing was we had fun!!

Snowflakes
SU's retired Snowflakes set is a nice set to make a simple yet elegant card. I bought the Staz-On white ink today. Oh ya, and if I had of really thought about I suppose I would have cleaned off my stamp right away instead of letting it sit there for an hour!! Duh why do you think they called it STAZ-ON?!! I'm very anal about cleaning my stamps and most of mine look like they're new and never been used. Needless to say, not anymore. I scrubbed and scrubbed and most of it's off now. Lesson learned. LOL!! Oh - the card is acetate. Can you see it?
Sockafellabella
I started this card on Friday. I was coloring my sockafellabella and trying to come up with a bunch of different colors but not too many to avoid making it look busy. I set it aside overnight for some of the glitter to dry. This morning I was checking my bellaholics digest and linked to Papermonkey and LO AND BEHOLD!!!! WE COLORED THE SAME WAY!!! Their clothes anyway but I thought that was funny. :) And both added puff to the hats! I used Marvy Liquid Applique on the hats, Stickles glitter over top and Doodlebug jewels for the berries. So I guess it goes to show that great minds think alike???!!!! I love this card!! Have I gotten over my creativity block? I sure hope so!!
Failed Birthday Attempt #2
Ok, this, somehow was even worse! I just couldn't get my mojo going! So to kind of fix it I threw gems all over the place! LOL!! My favorite part is the flower gems. I then attempted card #3 and was finally successful! But, of course, since she's a subscriber I can't publish it until next weekend. I'M NOT GETTING THAT SENILE YET SIMONE!! eeeeee heee heee heeee!!! BOL!!
Failed birthday attempt #1
Making cards for a fellow stamper can be tough sometimes. Especially when that fellow stamper is your twin!!! This was my first failed attempt at her birthday card. Needless to say she's not getting this one. It's an ok card to give one who doesn't stamp. I think that's passable but when you are trying to come up with a really great one, this just doesn't pass the test. But maybe you can use it to pull an idea or two off of it. Why should a blog be just for our best? LOL!!!

Balloonabella
I got this image from my new found bella Sherilyn. It's a birthday card for my grandmother-in-law. Her birthday is on the same day as mine......and as my sister (twins).....and my mother-in-law. Nope, not kidding! Every birthday I still think it's strange!! LOL! I also used Crackle accents to crack the balloons and heart shaped gems placed back to back to make it look like a bow.
Sleigh Full of Toys
This was another criss cross card I finished up. This was the first one I was trying out. There's Stickles on the little present, his ball at the end of his hat and the working but you can hardly seem them. I love the embossing folders that Cuttlebug has. That's what I used for the embossed snowflakes. Fun!

Criss Cross Card
This was a lot of fun! Took a bit of time but the card is for my mother-in-law's birthday. It seems like whenever there's mom's involved I am always trying to top my last card. Since there's always new products out a year later it's quite easy to do. I've had a year to practice. LOL!! And yes there are 2 different jackets....it's not your eyes fooling you. I tried the adding the creme band after doing the one below.

Hey, Ghoul Friend
These were tons of fun too but I can't take all the credit. I was searching on Splitcoast Gallery, which I'm sure is one popular gallery among us all. If you take a look at Suzy Q. Moose you'll see what I mean. She's quite talented!
This background paper was from Making Memories. I did a little shopping out of town this weekend. hee hee!

Xmaswinobella
This is for a swap I'm doing with bellaholics. You have to use an every day bella but make it christmasy. Think I succeeded? Oooh I do!! I love this one! It was a lot of fun! :)
Happy Thanksgiving
And by the way HAPPY THANKSGIVING to all! I'm thankful that I have my family and that they all have their health. :)
Lovely As A Tree
This is for a friend who had surgery last week on her wrist. Poor girl! Of course the stamp is getwellabella from Stamping Bella. My favorites and my addiction right now!
