Heart Slimline Cutting File Giveaway

Hi everyone!   Today I have a FREE cutting file give away for all you Silhouette users!

I'm just loving these slimline cards and dies but I have to admit they can be a little pricey so I thought how easy would it be to create one on my Silhouette?
EASY!
So today I'm sharing an svg file for this design free for you to download for Silhouette Studio.  You can either use all the pieces in the file or you can cut the following layers and then cut just the 3-heart layer only.

(WORKS ON SILHOUETTE ONLY, PLEASE NOTE THIS IS JUST THE TEMPLATE, DIGI STAMP IS NOT INCLUDED)

Cut your base piece to 8 1/2" x 7" and then scored it at 3 1/2".Your 2nd layer will measure 8 1/4" x 3 1/4" and for my design I used a piece from the "Winnie Sunshine Delights" 6" x 6" Paper digi pack.  If you go this route, you only have the heart layer left to cut using your Silhouette.

You can also add your favourite digi stamps to your mat at this point and cut out the digi to save hand cutting later! Bonus!

I created mine into a shaker card and covered my middle heart with my digi image.

The image is a digi called "Snowman Frosty Hugs Too Cute".

It comes pre-coloured and both come with svg files in case you'd like to print and cut using your Silhouette.
You can check here for the video tutorial on how to do that.

This whole line are images that can be used not only for Christmas cards but once again I've used one to create a Valentine's card.  😀💖

I've coloured my image using copics and listed them below.  I added some stitches to her scarf and some dots to his using a .25mm fine tip pen.  I would suggest adding these AFTER you colour your image or letting it completely dry once you've done your additions.

I coloured the extra chipboard hearts using distress inks and then covered them off with Stickles.  There's just something about adding glitter to winter cards.  For my final addition I've adhered some roses to each of the hearts.

I hope you get some use out of the cutting file!

Thanks for stopping by!
Sending warm hugs,
Eulanda

MFT - Polar Bear Pals

Helllloooooo out there!!  I made this card awhile ago but never did give it away yet so YAY for me!!  Stash for next xmas!  LOL!!  I used the super cute set from MFT called "Polar Bear Pals" and coloured them using my copics.

I've created the scene by adding Lawn Fawn's "Stitched Mountain" border die and the slimline die from Honey Bee stamps called "Honey Cuts".  The chipped sapphire and dusty concord distress inks were the only colours I've used for my water scene and then did some "splats".  OH and the cute ice they are floating on are dies from MFT's "Grounding Elements".

I'm entering my card into MFT's "Slimline" challenge.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day!
Hugs,
Eulanda

Hello Frosty Snowman

Today I have a shaker to share using Hello Frosty Snowman digi from the new Too Cute Frosty Smiles collection.

Since this is a digi you could also grab the pre-coloured image and BONUS, they come with an SVG file!  What I love about this collection is that some of them can serve double duty purposes as to me, this one looks like a Valentine's card cuz if you're like us, we still have snow in February!   I cut the circles for the shaker using the Posydoodles - Circles die set and filled it with some fun hearts, stars and sprinkles.

I have cut a total of 6 tags with most being papers from the Timeless Rose paper pad.  I also added a sentiment from the Sentimentals 6 x 6 paper pad, which is filled with multiple various sayings and handy for lots of different themes.  I even used a tag from the Posydoodles Basics Tags set.  My fav!!!!  😀 You can see in this photo where each layer is and I've even popped up a few of them using foam dots.

And a pic of my usual bouquets filled with a shabby chic ribbon, a twine box, and amazing gem and  some Wild Orchid flowers.

What kind of cards are you working on now?  Valentine's or are you starting with Christmas cards again?  I'm doing both!  I love this hobby!!  😀💕

Eulanda

Hello Bluebird - Feed the Birds

I needed a few thank you cards so figured I would start by playing with some new stamps I got from Hello Bluebird.  Well ... new to me because they are from the late November release but I just received them about a week ago.  Yaaaaaa...it's so hard to have patience when you're waiting for something so super cute!!  LOL!!

I started out with the "Big Mountain" scene die, laid down some distress inks, spritzed some water and then added some white paint splats to make the background.

The set I've used is "Feed the Birds" and I'm looking forward to trying the girl image in another scene like maybe fall because even in fall, we can get some pretty frigid weather here.

I've listed the copic combo's I've used below and even tho this looks like a simple card, it always amazes me how much time I spend on them.  I think it's the decision making process that slows me down but it's the process that I love so much.

I know it's definitely a different kind of style for me but I'm really enjoying it.  I hope you have too!

Hugs,
Eulanda

Stamping Bella "Beatrice & Barbara are Besties"

When it comes to cards for my sister I really go to town.  The only problem that comes up the following year is ... "ok crap, how am I gonna top this?"  LOL!  I'm sure we've all gone through that.  Yet, every year so far I've manage to do it but I will say it is getting harder!

The stamp I used is from Stamping Bella called "Uptown Girls Beatrice and Barbara are Besties" and I used my Prismacolour pencil crayons to colour and create the rest of the scene.  This is what the image originally looked like.

Don't they look like they're just enjoying each other but also seriously up to something?!  Such a great depiction of us!!  🤣🤣

I had this gorgeous heart in my stash so I added some berries and Wild Orchid flowers.

I've used some Laswerowe Love chipboard hearts, painted them with Tim Holtz distress paint and then covered them icicle Stickles.

Hope you've enjoyed this card as much as I enjoyed creating it.

Thanks for stopping by!
