MFT Merry Wishes

Tell me you didn't just go "awwwwwww"....cuz I sure did when I finished the card.  I think tho, it has a lot to do with these cute little creatures!  I've use MFT's "Merry Wishes" stamps and the paper is from Photoplay's Christmas Cheer 6 x 6 paper pad.  It's AWESOME!!

I've coloured with my copics again....they're just so quick and easy but I should try my Zig Clean Brush markers.  I bet these images would be easy to use them with and super cute.  For some details I've added liquid pearls to the tree, stickles to the snow on the cabin and bird's pom pom and some glossy accents on the cabin.  All these minor details just add so much to a card don't ya think?

A closer look a that super cute cabin.  Oooooo bet it's so cozy inside with fireplace going, sitting on the couch with a hot chocolate and Bailey's and a blanket over your lap while watching snowflakes fall through the windows.  Sigh.....I wish snow gave me that amazing feeling year round.  不不

I hope you like this even tho it is a bit simpler for me because I'm enjoying making them.  It's nice to be able to get 2 of these done in the time it takes me to do 1 for my other style.  A few years ago someone had mentioned to me that a certain CHA was all about quick and easy.  At the time I couldn't understand ... what?  Why?!  Now I get it.  不不不

Thanks for stopping by!
Hugs,
Eulanda

Thanks A Latte!

I needed a relatively quick card but I also wanted to play with my new Tonic Coffee Die & Shaker that I got from Scrap N Stamp Canada!  3 other shakers might have ended up in my basket too!  喫  So I had to go searching online for some digital papers when I stumbled upon the Graciellie Design online store.  There are some very nice paper packs as well as digi's there so I was pretty happy!!  This set of papers is Coffee Lovers Digital Paper pack.

I added some Picket Fence sequins from Scrap 'n Stamp but I don't think I'm done purchasing those either.  They have some new mixes and I'm likin' them a lot!

I added some glossy accents to the Tim Holtz spoon then covered with distress stickles to make it appear there's still sugar on the spoon.  The little sugar cubes are real sugar cubes that I filed down to size to fit.  By the way, those sugar cubes are freakin' tough!!  I thought I might have to go through a couple of broken ones but nope!!  Just filed them down and voila!!

I hope you've enjoyed my card.  Thanks a latte for stopping by!!!

A Beary Mice Surprise

Just a card I had shared on FB but I didn't add it onto my blog.  As the title of the post says, this image is "A Beary Mice Surprise" from Di's Digital Stamps.  She also has a pre-coloured image if you're in a hurry or you're not into colouring so much.  LOL!

I made a super cute confetti shaker card.  I cut the YUM sentiment 4 times in white and then once in teal.  I realized it needed a bit more zip so I added some stickles to the top.

I coloured this image using my copics and also learned some of my techniques form Kit & Clowder.  She has some really amazing classes.  In fact, I would say they are the best but she has some Create & Learn monthly classes where you can learn lots as well for a mere $20!!  Great pricing!!

Enjoy your Sunday!  I'm off to colour!  YAY!

Eulanda

Wishing You Christmas Cheer

I thought I would join in on MFT’s sketch challenge this week. I decided to use the stamps from the “Christmas Cheer” set to create this little cutie scene. I’ve distressed the background using distress oxides which just happens to be my favourite background technique at the moment. I even enjoyed adding splats and have managed to keep them off my clothes and surrounding area’s now.

I tend to really think outside the box when it comes to sketches.  I've used MFT's "Cloud Cover" dies to use as snow drifts, which would represent the 2 strips under the main focal square.

Here are the colours I've used for my background:

Well that was fun!!  On to the next card!  Hee Hee!!

Hugs to all!

Print and Cut using SVG files and PNG digi images

Welcome back!!  Today I'm going to share a quick video tutorial on how to print and cut your digi images and SVG images.

For this quick and easy card I've used images and cutting files from the big Waddy and Wanda Penguin bundle.  This is so handy for when you're in a pinch and need something in a hurry.  Or, you can make it fancier by printing off the images and colouring them yourself but I opted for the pre-coloured images.

I printed off 2 layers of images.  The first one, I die cut using a circle die and the 2nd set I cut with my Silhouette and popped up with some foam dots for some dimension.

I've used Polkadoodles Merry Christmas die and then adhered some black glitter to the sentiment using glue from a stick pen to make it easier.  It was still a bit difficult I won't kid you.  Hindsight next time I would use black glitter paper.  丹‍♀️

Here is my video to print and cut.  I hope it's something you find useful.

Have a wonderful day!

Out of This World

HA HA HA OMG HOW CUTE IS THIS?!  I just love this crazy little guy!!  It's from Kraftin' Kimmie's clear stamp set called "Out of This World".   I paired this little fellow up with some papers from Polkadoodles called "Little Monsters" printable digi paper.  I made this card for a very special boy who turned 1 and is just the cutest boy EVER!  Ok, maybe a bit biased as he's my step-grandson but freakin' adorable!  .Had to add the googley eyes tho so he could shake the card even tho he might not understand the card.  Hee Hee

Sooooooo as a result of me having to buy some googley eyes, my sister was here and ended up doing THIS to my husband's truck.  OMG we laughed so freakin' hard and we had to be careful because he was home while we were doing it.  He did think it was pretty funny tho.  Good sport however, they didn't stay on for long.  He took the off before he left for work - damn him!  ha ha ha!!!

Happy thanksgiving to all my Canadian peeps!!

Have a great Sunday!!

MFT Squirrel

Just sharing a super cute card I made for My Favorite Things color challenge.

I've used MFT's "Squirrel" stamp set and their "Cloud Cover Die-namics".  I did add some blue at the bottom of the cloud but I think I would need to add a bit more so you can actually see it in a photo.

I stamped my images and then masked them off.  I covered them and did the background using my distress oxides which is always fun!!  Love doing that!

Here are the colours we're suppose to use:

I'm really having fun with these on layer scenes.  It's extremely relaxing.

Have a great day!

Polkadoodles Boneshakin Shaker Card

Hi there!  Today I'm going to share a shaker card featuring some new Boneshakin goodies!!  I started by using the Grungey Slime halloween stencil but didn't actually make it that grungy.  Next time I'll try green or gross red.  LOL!  I first did the stencil in black distress oxide and then covered it with Rangers Stickles Asteroid glitter gel.  Looks super sparkly in real life.  I used a piece of design paper from the "Boneshakin Halloween 6" x 6" paper pad, which by the way, has a bunch of fun and very traditional Halloween patterns and colours.  Love that!

I was on a tear colouring up a bunch of these cuties at the same time and used my copics.  I really like how her hair turned out!!  OH and speaking of "her", this is Best Witches Winnie Wednesday clear stamp set.  Isn't she cute with her little kitten?!  弘

I've stamped a sentiment from the Boneshakin Halloween Winnie Wednesday stamp set, on to some copic paper and then did a graduated colouring to add some colour.  They looked kind of plain when I had them on just white paper so I wanted to pump them up a bit.    I also put some foam dots behind for a bit of dimension.

Here is a little shaker video to see the movement of the shaker guts.  Yes that's a technical term "shaker guts".

For those of you who normally have kids that trick or treat I hope something gets sorted out to allow them to collect some goodies.  I know it won't be the same as any other year but what is these days?

Hugs to all and thanks for stopping by!

Happy Halloween Winnie

Hello there and welcome back to my very traditionally coloured Halloween card.

I used a piece of design paper from the Boneshakin Halloween paper pad and added some black soot distress ink oxide over the Spider Web halloween stencil.  It's a very subtle addition and DANG now as I'm writing this I was just thinking how cool it would have looked in white!  I JUST GOT SOME WHITE INK TOO!!  Apparently not use to having it.  LOL!  You can also get this in a package of 5 Halloween Layering stencils, which would be my personal preference.

I've popped one of the two main images from the Happy Halloween Winnie Wednesday clear stamp set atop of the largest Elegant nest die.  This stamp package comes with 11 stamps including sentiments and accessory stamps.  ADORABLE!!  I've added some spider web (fake since I don't have a spider farm to create it for me) over the die, flowers and tree.  Ya ... a little creepy but isn't that the point?    The sentiment came from another set called Boneshakin Halloween Winnie Wednesday.

Here is another pic of the tree with spider web draping over it.  I just had to add the little blingy spider next to the tree cuz that's just plain cute.

I know some countries don't celebrate Halloween but if you live in one do you make them anyway?  I used to dress up in costumes when I was younger but now we live out in the country and we don't even get any little trick or treaters to give out candy to.  I suppose this year is going to be a very strange one and I feel so bad for all the little kids but I'm sure something fun will get figured out for them.

Hugs to all and thanks for stopping by!

You're Terror-ific

Hello and welcome back so quickly!  LOL!  I'm sharing how I created my distress oxide ink background but just by pics this time.

I have cut my slimline piece out and used my distress oxide brushes to colour in each section.  I've also added all my colours in case you wanted to try it for yourself.  This is one of my favourite techniques for Halloween cards 鳶but slowly becoming a favourite for many others. I love designing Halloween and Christmas cards the most!  What about you?

I made kind of a mistake when I layered my tree over my finished colouring.  I wanted some black and white splats but when I got to this point I went...oooohhhh.  Dang it how will I fix this?!  I could have just left it because it's still pretty just the way it is.  And by the way, there are quite a number of new stencils in the store.  Have you seen them yet?!!  Ooooooo...you can buy this one by itself, Creepy Tree Halloween stencil, or in a pack or 4 called Halloween Layering stencils.  I like this last option better.

So to fix my little dilemma, I inked up the tree stencil again and then cut it out on my Brother Scan n Cut.  I will say this is definitely the lengthy way of layering (LOL) but it worked!  I used the mask to cover my tree and then went to town and added my white and black splats.

Isn't' she just the cutest?  New to the store and wouldn't she be a great addition to your Halloween inventory?  Happy Halloween Winnie Wednesday clear stamp set but there are a few more to check out too.  I coloured her up using my copics and sorry I didn't create a list this time but if you're curious about one please leave a comment.  How cute is her little kitten?!  This set actually comes with 2 main images, a few sentiments and accessory pieces for a total of 11 clear stamps.

Again I used my Great Outdoors 6" x 6" stencil to trace out some clouds.

So do you ever add a distress ink background to your cards?  I just started this past year so it's relatively new to me.  Buying up all the distress ink oxides (my favourite) and stencils now.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
Hugs,
Eulanda

GIVEAWAY and Background Video Tutorial

Today and I have a background tutorial for you using distress oxides so stick with me until the end and I'll share the link with you there.  I also have a GIVEAWAY so you might want to check out the details on that as well!! 戊

I have lots of info to share with you on this card today but first the main actors of this scene are from the  Funky Monsters and Freaky Monsters clear polymer stamps.  Aren't they just super cute?!!!  I've also use the Little Monsters Digi papers, well only one design paper but they are just adorable!!!  There are actually 12 different designs and don't forget to watch out for Digi Chooseday held every Tuesday where there are always discounts on digi items.

ha ha ha these little guys crack me up!  Well the fun thing about a stage like this is that you can colour them anyway you like!!  It's your spacey scene so go for it!!

I used this sentiment from the Little Monsters digi messages and what a selection there is!  I am horrible at coming up with words to say inside and out so this makes it so much easier!

For the clouds I cheated somewhat.  Hee Hee  I traced the Great Outdoors Stencil clouds onto vellum and also glitter paper and then had my Brother Scan and Cut actually cut them.  Now you could also use scissors.  In some cases I'm sure it would be quicker than setting up your machine but I just wanted to share how you could use some of the PD stencils as dies!!

I hope you like my crazy slimline card.  I even added some sticky dots for some planets or ... who knows?!!  Maybe that's what these guys live with up there - floating dots.  LOL!!  I just thought they were fun!

GIVEAWAY

It just so happens that I ended up with an extra set of the Little Monster Freaky Monster clear polymer stamp set!!  SO!!!!  You have 4 chances to win.  Just leave a comment on as many social media platforms as you like:

Contest closes Sept. 25/20 and winner will be announced Sept. 26/20

GOOD LUCK!

And as promised here is my video for the background of this card:

Gnome More Rain Please

Welcome back because today I'm sharing another gnome from the recent super cute gnome set using a stencil for your background sky.

This sweet image is called Gnome More Rain Please!  I've coloured it with my copics and he just popped off the page!  I used both my distress and oxide inks to color the Cloud Landscape craft stencil and Grass Lawn border craft stencil.  I didn't have the proper oxide teal color so had to settle for the distress ink.  Well, let me tell you I rectified that problem immediately!  Guess what's coming in the mail?!!     You might be able to tell the difference but maybe if I hadn't of mentioned it, a person wouldn't notice.  I tend to favour the oxide inks more.  What about you?

I added the "Love You Buckets" sentiment this clear polymer stamp set comes with using a die from the Posydoodle tags set.  Again, I double layered it...I just can't help myself.

For extras, I've layered some ribbon, corregated cardboard and a border die from my stash.  I also added some clear Glossy Accents to any of the rain drops then sprinkled some loose glitter overtop.  I used Stickles for the wooden butterflies.  I find if I use Stickles on a Copic coloured image that the ink tends to bleed.  Has that ever happened to you?  Annoys me!  尹  So are you a gnome lover?  They are so adorable!

Thanks for stopping by!

Gnome For Tea

Hello!!  Eulanda with you today and I'm couldn't stop myself with the gnomes so for my next project I made a shaker card!

I've coloured this cutie with my copics and then cut him out using my Brother Scan & Cut.  I'm starting to really love that thing!!!    I used my scalloped and stitched die cut for the base of my card and I'm really starting to like that look too!

This image is called Gnome For Tea and comes with 2 more polymer clear stamp sentiments.  "Hey Gnomie" and "Mush You So Much".    So cute!   I also used a stencil from the Timeless Rose collection called Sweethearts Stencil for the inner part of the card, colouring it with Mermaid Lagoon oxide ink.

I remember years and years ago when I first started card making how shaker cards were "in".  It's nice to see them back again.  Allows us the chance to use up our stock but with all the new shaker items coming out it's awfully hard to stick to using my own stash.  Ok, let's be honest, who does that?

Thanks for stopping by today!

Winnie - Relax

Eulanda here and today I'm sharing my last summer card.  Boooooooo. ☹️... kinda, cuz I do love fall.

Today I'm sharing the Winnie - Relax clear stamp image with you and I've paired her up with fun and bright papers from the Bright & Beautiful 6 x 6 paper pad.

This sentiment is from the Perfect Wishes clear polymer stamp collection, which I cut using a die from the Posydoodle tags set.  I always like to double layer my sentiments just for more layering.  I also adhered some sisal under the sentiment, which is kind of like of like a dyed coconut fibre.  Adds so much by doing so little.  And what do you think about those fun coloured clouds?!!  I've used distress oxides and the the clouds from the Great Outdoors stencil.

I just wanted to share this pic so you could see the glitter on the chipboard butterflies I have in my stash.  I coloured them white first and then added some Stickles.  Supa cute don't you think?!

Here I've cut one layer of the Delicate Daisy Border but now while I'm looking at it, it gave me an idea for next time I think I'll cut 2.  If you position them right, it should make it look like you have a drop shadow.  Hmf...cool!!  LOL!   On top of the border I cut multiple flowers from the Daisy Cluster dies, spritzed with water, crumpled up, let dry, then take apart a bit to layer them on each other for a fuller flower.  I've added some pearls to the centre and voila!!  Fini!!

So are you finished with summer and ready for fall?  We hardly had a summer to speak of as it was late and abnormally cool.  Many people are saying their gardens didn't fare well and lots of items are late this year.  Well, that's all ok as long as I get a really looooonnnggg fall.  LOL!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Winnie Gifts Galore

Welcome to today's post where I am sharing a video on how to use scrap ribbon!!  I always have little pieces that are super pretty but useless, however, I'm a crafter so I hoard...I mean collect!!!

I've used papers from the summery Winnie Sunshine Delights 6" x 6" digital paper pack and printed with Ultimate Graphic 160gsm paper.   If you haven't tried this paper yet OH MY!!  Don't wait another moment!!!  There is no need for any editing as it prints color beautifully.

I love having butterflies of any shape and size on my card so the Butterfly Trio - 3 craft cutting dies are perfect as there are 3 available options in the package.  There are sooooo many different ways of using them.  I like to layer mine so I've layered this with some white (which you can see better in the top pic) and then topped off with a heart gem from my stash.  I also snuck in a seam binding bow to finish if off.

I love this gorgeous Winnie "Gifts Galore" clear polymer stamp and it stamped just beautifully, like all of them always do.  I coloured using my Prismacolor pencil crayons and have listed the combo's below. Here is a closer look at the layered ribbon embellishment stack.  Sometimes we overthink pieces on our card (well I know I do) and it can come down to something so simple yet perfect!

I added 3 LED lights to this card and added the "on" switch at the base of the tree.  If you follow me, you know how much I luuuuv my lights!!   They aren't hard to add and don't take a lot of time.  I do have a video on my YouTube channel to show how to add these but I will be adding more.

I hope you've enjoyed this little cutie card.  Do you think you might give the ribbon stack a try?  It felt really simple to share this technique but sometimes when I see something easy I do the 丹‍♀️ (palm to forehead) thing and in my mine I'm thinking "wow so easy, why didn't I think of that?"

As mentioned above here you go!

Hope you and your family are all well and staying safe!
Sending out warm hugs to you all!
Eulanda
