GNOME-AZING CHRISTMAS - Let It Snow

It's SNOWING GLITTER!  Well at least on my winter mini slimline scene anyway.  🤣  ❄️⛄️ I back sharing another card by the new:

GNOME-AZING CHRISTMAS!!

I first set out creating my background of glitter snowflakes using Tumbled Glass and Kitsch Flamingo distress oxide.  I then laid down my PD "Snowballs" stencil and covered with some iridescent glitter gel.

I then added some snow banks and holographic film cardstock for the ice to finish my landscape scene.  I've coloured up some images from the recently released "Let It Snow" polymer stamp set using my Copics.  For a little added texture I used pencil crayons on the snowman's hat ...

... and the gnome's cuffs, where you can see some lines on the both of them.

I did make a mistake while creating the scarf but I had quite a bit of my image coloured so I didn't want to start over.  I had first coloured the scarf a pink combo and didn't like how it turned out so I tried to cover it with a purple combo.  Welllllll.... there was something on the paper that wasn't allowing the Copic ink to soak in so it was looking pretty rough.  I stamped off the image again and discovered I had stamped it off on to paper meant for pencils.  Well that's ok then!!  I decided to use a pencil combo instead!!  One tip about fussy cutting your "extra piece" is to colour the white edges where you cut, using a black marker so you can't tell that it's been cut.  Works like a charm!!  😀

After all images were coloured I popped them onto the card using some foam dots and added the sentiment, which is also in the "Let it Snow" set.

And just like that another card done for Christmas!!  I am loving that companies are now doing releases in August!  It's sooo helpful especially for people who hate doing the same card over.  That's me.  Drives me nuts!  LOL!  When do you start working on yours?  🎄🎁

Thanks for stopping by!
