Warm and Fuzzy Penguins

My mom's favourite colour is blue ... I think ... ha ha ha last time I checked anyway, so I thought it would be nice to make her an xmas card in that colour.  Besides, lots of xmas cards are in blue because of the snow.  😀

This is a Stamping Bella image called "Warm and Fuzzy Penguins" I coloured with copics.  When I was finished I added dots using Inkssentials enamel accents to create the snow storm.  Takes a lot to get your first ones down cuz it's like "ummmmm should I do it?  eeeeee what if I wreck all my colouring?"  So I just took the dive and PHEW it was successful!!  🤣🤣🤣

I love these sugared apples they're so fun for Christmas cards and anything glittery really!

Ok so I think this is one of my last cards for the season.  Did you get all the cards done that you wanted?  I didn't but this was such a weird year for everything that I suppose no one will even notice.  LOL!

MFT - Present Time

Well this was fun!!  I've used some MFT images and created a fun winter scene using Present Time and Cloud Cover and coloured with my Copics.  All combo's are listed below.  😀

Aren't they so so cute?!!  I've used my white pen to try and add some accents but I find it difficult to get a nice solid white line.  They don't seem to like being used over copic marker but if you have any tips I'd love to hear them!  😀

Well another card done for this year!!  YAY!!  Add that to the pile WOO!

Did you get as many cards done as you wanted?

Thanks for coming by!
Hugs,
Eulanda

Christmas Bug

Another Stamping Bella card featuring Christmas Bug.  Now how adorable is that?!!  I paired it with some papers from Maja Design, which I absolutely love!!  The row of xmas lights is Laserowe Love chipboard that I first coloured with my Copics and then added Stickles and topped off with Glossy Accents.  Can you just imagine what they look like in real life?!  Stunning!

I added my usual Wild Orchid Crafts flowers and also more Stickles because to me, Christmas and glitter are buddies.  LOL!!

I coloured the image using my Zig markers.

The recipient absolutely loved this card but I have to admit I did have a hard time giving it up.  LOL!
Thanks for stopping by! 💕

Stamping Bella Edna Under the Mistletoe

Today's card features a stamp from Stamping Bella.  I just absolutely LOVE her images and they really are so much fun to colour, even if I'm not so fast at it.  LOL!!  I am one of those ones that "enjoys the process".  I like that verbiage more than admitting I'm a slow colourist.  🤣🤣🤣

This image is Edna Under the Mistletoe stamp and I had seen the amazing Faye Wynn-Jones color this image but I didn't realize while I was colouring, how similar they would look like when I was done.  Ooooops...maybe my subconscious just retains OR maybe we just have a lot of the same taste.  LOL!  But I can't take complete credit as she really inspired me.

And in true Eulanda fashion, 🤣🤣🤣, I had to add some of my Wild Orchic Crafts stash.

Thanks so much for stopping by!!
Hugs,
Eulanda

Hello Bluebird

Just for fun!!  I made this a few weeks ago with some new items from Hello Bluebird including the Tall Trees Scene Die.   If you've been following me you'll notice I'm really stuck on non-traditional holiday colours, shaker and slimline cards, which I bring you yet again.  🤣🤣🤣

It's a bit challenging to take photo's of a shaker and slimline card but here shows the pretty shaker contents I've used sectioning off each piece under the tree's so my sequins aren't just willy nilly.  There is an actual plan to them.  LOL!!

I've mixed it up and added images from O Christmas Tree and Deck the Halls stamp sets.

The scenes are so much fun to create and kind of takes me back to feeling like a kid again.  YAY!!  Gotta like that!  LOL!  🤣🤣🤣

Thanks for stopping by!
Enjoy the day!
Hugs,
Eulanda

Stamping Bella Christmas Cards

I have a few Stamping Bella Christmas cards to share with you today.  Last year I had a smart moment...LOL...yup they come and go.  🤣🤣🤣 SB had a sale near the end of the year so I bought a number of images but didn't receive them until January, which was perfectly fine because I wasn't expecting them for xmas anyway.  I started colouring them up and had a bunch ready for this year.  WOO!  AND I even created the base of the  cards so that all I had to do was add my embellishments.  That was awesome and wouldn't you know it?  I have another order on it's way right now!!  I am soooo doing this again!!

This image is called Trimming the Tree.  I used my Zig markers and the no-line technique, which I found took a bit longer but I did like the look of it.  I added some glossy accents to all the bulbs and then decked out the card with pieces from my stash.

My 2nd Stamping Bella card is Christmas Hugs from the Oddball collection.  Isn't he hilarious?!!!  The look on his face!!!  Or lack thereof whatever.  🤣🤣🤣. I coloured this image using my Prismacolour pencil crayons.

My absolute favourite cards to create are Christmas so hopefully I will get to make more again this year!  More to come so stay tuned!!!

Eulanda

Snowman Friends

Back today with another card using an image from the new Polkadoodles "Frosty Winter Smiles" collection.

This sweet image is called "Snowman Friends" and is available in black & white digi or precoloured version including an svg file.  You really could use this for a winter birthday card too, not just a Christmas card.  I've coloured these cuties using prismacolour pencil crayons to match the Christmas Blessings craft paper.

I added some winter roses, well they're not specifically winter roses, I just called them that because it sounded good and it's a winter card.  LMBO!!  I also added some fun snowballs!!  Ok ok, pom pom ribbon but again, it's winter.  🤣🤣🤣

I've always liked the look of framing the image in flowers so I went for it!!  I managed to even sneak some wooden snowflakes into the flowers.  😀

Have you managed to sneak in to buy some of these sweet digi's yet?

Thanks for stopping by!

Frosty Smiles Shaker Card

Today I'm sharing a shaker card using the latest Polkadoodles collection called "Frosty Winter Smiles".

I had so so much fun with this!!  These slimline cards make it so easy to create a beautiful scene.  Are you creating slimline cards yet?  The fabulous thing is they still cost the same to send in the mail as a regular card.  ☺️

This image is called "Snowmen Celebration" and available in digi black and white and pre-coloured and both come with an svg file so you can cut out your image.   I've coloured everything with my Copics and the combo's are listed below.

I've also used "Ski Time" - black & white digi or pre-coloured

AND "Sweet Tweets Snowman" - black & white digi or pre-coloured.  The sentiment is from the "Snowball Kisses" stamp set.

These images were so fun to make smaller so I could create a scene.  Best thing about digi's is how you can resize them ... oh AND the instant gratification you get by having the image right then and there when you want it. 🤣🤣😀

This new line of stamps can also be used all winter, not just for Christmas.  There are a few that could be used for Valentines and a birthday!  I'm all about getting that extra mile out of my digi's.  LOL!

Thanks for stopping by,
Eulanda 🥰

Winnie Sunshine Delight Coffee

Today I'm sharing a birthday card using the sweet Winnie image called "Sunshine Delight Coffee" because yes, even during winter and Christmas people still have birthdays.  🎂😂

You can buy this image in a black and white or pre-coloured file.  She is cute either way don't ya think?  For my sentiment I used one of the many from the Perfect Wishes clear stamp set.  I love the imprint it leaves, it's so ... well ... perfect!!  😀

I printed out a few pieces of design paper from the Eden Collection - Paper Heaven 1 Craft bundle.  I really enjoy printing off my own papers sometimes and using the Ultimate Graphic paper is perfect for such an occasion.  You don't even have to make any edits, just print!

I've added some wooden butterflies I have in my stash along with some Wild Orchid flowers.

As usual I've done lots of layering but this time I've used the Posydoodles Basic Rectangle dies to help me out.  Oh and did I mention they are on sale?!!  I don't know if you can see it or not but on the very top layer (the piece the sentiment is on) the rectangle die cut some teeny tiny dots.  It's a very subtle look but I love it!  You can probably see it better in the 2nd pic above.

Have you ever used digital papers before?  Where I live, I almost have to.  We don't have a store very close and sometimes it's just super convenient.

Hugs and thanks for stopping by!

MFT Sketch #518 - Joyous Holidays

Welcome back to another MFT card and today I've used MFT's Christmas Cheer paper and Joyous Holidays stamp set.

I decided to make a shaker out of the circle element.  Lots of times I look at the sketch first and think of what I could come up all on my own and then I take a peek at the DT projects.  They really do a fabulous job!

I turned my card to get more real estate to create a little fun scene!
How many more cards are you doing for Christmas?  I think I'm almost done for people on my list but I'm not so sure I'm done colouring.  It would be great to get ahead for next year.  Oh who am I kidding?!!  I'm not THAT organized.  LOL!!

Sending warm hugs!!
Eulanda

Winnie North Pole - Production Line

Welcome back!!  Today I'm showing you how to make your sentiments look like chipboard.  I did a tutorial like this last year but I didn't have the great 120lb paper that I've used this year.

I used this Merry Christmas die and cut it 5 times with 120lb cardstock and then cut a layer of Bazzill navy blue cardstock once more.  When I was finished, I adhered them and stacked layer by layer.  You could do even 3 layers plus your color making 4, and it still looks quite high.

Here is a closeup view of all my layers.  Each piece is also a lot lighter than chipboard or wooden pieces so even tho they might seem bulky, they're a great weight.

I've coloured on some glitter using a glitter stick and added Stardust Stickles to anything white.

This image is just adorable and she's from the new Winnie North Pole collection called "Santa's Workshop Production Line" which also includes an svg file.  AND!!!!  Yes there's more, you can even buy the pre-coloured image for a quicker card.

I just HAD to add the gum drop!!!  Again, you can see where I've added some of the Stardust Stickles.  I feel like Christmas and glitter are best buddies.  🤣🤣

It is a little difficult to take photo's of the whole slimline card but I LOOOOOVVEEE making them!!

Hope you and yours are all doing well and staying safe.
Thanks for coming by,
Eulanda
