Live and Love Crafts

I'm soooooo very sad to say this is my last card for Live and Love Crafts.  Unfortunately, due to some family circumstances, my spare time is needed elsewhere but that's ok.  It's for a very good reason.  This week we were inspired by BIRDS, so I was relieved to find a MF resin piece still in my stash. Woo hoo!  I used Pion's "A Day In May" paper collection and even cut out the tiny butterflies from it as well.  So cute!

The chipboard is from Southern Ridge Trading Company.  I covered it with a Tim Holtz paint dauber, rock candy and some gold Shimmer Spritz.

Isn't this "Queen of Sheba" lace so gorgeous?!!  It just deserves such a big spot on a card and I hate to cover it so I tried to be careful.  LOL!  The big flower is from Prima and the Wild Orchid ones I bought from LLC.  OH and I have to point out these gorgeous metal corners - aren't they pretty?!

There you have it!  I want to thank Sandra and the girls at LLC for everything.   They have been such a pleasure to work with and one of my most favorite teams!  Thank you for introducing me to the wonderful world of vintage.  I was surprised and happy to find that I had it in me.

Have a great weekend everyone!!

Precious Post

HAPPY FRIDAY!!  This week at Live and Love Crafts we were inspired by the word "PRECIOUS"!  That word could be used for inspiring so many different cards but I knew exactly which papers to head to.  Off I went to Pion's "Sweet Baby" collection, including the images and made not just 1 but 2 cards.  I'm sure it was just as easy as making one!!  I'm gonna try this more often!  LOL!  The papers have some nice tags, which I topped off with a shabby bow.

I also covered the bottom layer with some cheesecloth.  It seems like using that adds more of a vintage feeling to anything.  I even added some very pretty tulle and laces on each card.
The big flower is from my stash of Prima and all my Wild Orchid Craft flowers are from LLC.  Oh and same with those gorgeous rolled roses.  If ever I was challenged to build a card without flowers I'm not so sure I could do it.  LOL!!  Oh WAIT!  Yes I could!  A masculine card - hee hee - but it would never look this pretty.  ha ha ha!!
I added a strip of the Pion baby paper (a tape measure) to a spool, then some pop dots and distressed the edges for both of these cards.  These butterflies are new to the LLC store and I've discovered that you can bend them for a little dimension so I lifted the wings and popped some lace behind some buttons.

Well I hope you've enjoyed my cards for the day! Have a great weekend!  I know I will as I'm heading off to a crop with some friends.  YAY to crafty time!  I hope you get some too!

Party Time!

Here is my last piece that went to CHA 2014 to show this little cutie called "Penny's Cupcake Wagon" from the CandiBean line.  I used some papers from LDRS's "Summer Sorbet" line to give it a spring feeling, which I'm pretty sure tons of us could use right about now!!  The sentiment is also new to LDRS called "Vintage Birthday" and in that collection you get 9 sentiments.

I used a butterfly border from Noor Design, added some layers of lace and some pretty flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Here's another picture of a Wild Orchid Crafts bouquet and I also added the new die available at LDRS.  Unfortunately I somewhat covered it too much but you can see the die below.

Isn't it so pretty!!  I just love it and wished I would have layered two of them underneath.  Ahh I'll get it on my next card.  LOL!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

YAY TO WOMEN!

So I was pretty excited to be making a card that was shaped but uh....the shape kind of got lost with all my layers sticking out all over.  ha ha ha ha!  Oops!  Oh well!  This week at Live and Love Crafts our inspiration is "Femininity" as March 8th is International Woman's Day!   YAY WOMEN!!

I chose pink, of course, a super feminine color and used Maja Design's "Vintage Spring Basics".  The image is from Pion Design's, Gramma's Attic "Love" image sheet.

Here I added this cute little birdhouse with a strip of rose ribbon and a whole bunch of Wild Orchid Craft flowers.  Also, I just love these paperclips!

What do you think of my bow?  Isn't it cute?!!  I cut it using my Silhouette and I suspect you'll be seeing more of these on future cards.  I also like this wooden butterfly available at LLC.

I took a Melissa Frances resin frame and backed it with some Vintage Spring paper then popped this cute little bird's nest charm on top.  The sentiment is also from the Vintage Spring papers and I distressed that as well as all layers.

Well that's all I have to share today!  Any plans for the weekend?  I think I might be crafting!  Who me?!  I know that's just crazy talk right?  LOL!  Enjoy!
Hugs,
Eulanda
