12th Day of Halloween

On the 12th day of Halloween my
ghoul love gave to me
12 Witches Cackling

We are down to 2 ladies in the 12 days of challenge over at

For my card today I am using Willow the Ghost but in another life she was a witch.  She looks like a good witch tho.  SO!!  The remaining 2 ladies have to have a witch incorporated into their projects.  You wouldn`t think it should be too hard at this time of year hey?  LOL!  Good luck to the finalists!!!

I am also entering this into Tickled Pink Stamps monthly sketch challenge.  FINALLY!!

Friday, October 29, 2010

This is one big collision of a group of truly talented ladies and I'm so glad to be a part of this hop.  If you've come here from Donna's blog "Popsicle Toes" you are on the right track.  And isn't her work something else?!!  If you would like to start at the beginning go back to Christy's blog "Tiddly Inks".

The ladies at Simply Betty Stamps are using Tiddly Inks images and vice versa.  I chose to use 3 TI images:  Betty Belfrey, Cast Your Spell and Door of Spook.  All images are colored with Copics.

The trick on my project is the door - HOW CUTE IS THAT?!
If you open it very slowly,

It's Betty Belfrey throwing around her glittery spells!!

Now for my treat, I am offering this rubber stamp from Magnolia.
"Haunted House"
I will draw the winner November 1st!!!

What's a blog hop without a challenge and more prizes?  Check out all the details at Christy's blog Tiddly Inks or Betty's blog at Simply Betty Stamps for more information.

Now hop along and you may find some more treats today!!  Your next stop is Jennifer at Wanna Be Creative!

For a complete list of the blog hop you can visit Simply Betty Stamps or Tiddly Inks.

Have fun!

I also want to give a callout to my girlfriend Nancy at Another MD Crabbie as she totally inspired this project for me.  If you haven't see her stuff you must check it out.  OOoooodles of talent this one!!

A number of you asked for me to do up a tutorial on this popcorn box and I'm sorry it's taken so long.  Gosh life gets away on us doesn't it!

I hope it comes in handy!  You can really put whatever you want in these little babies.  Even put some tissue in and then some home made cookies!

Now you can wrap it in guaze, like I did below or cut 3 3/4" x 3 3/4" design paper and layer each side.  Try wrapping a border around the top in a separate color or using ribbon as shown here:

Simply Betty Challenge #4

So this week's challenge at Simply Betty Challenges is all about creating a Halloween scene.  Re-create a card or project and give it your own twist, title or sentiments.  So my little twist is literal.  I twisted 26guage black wire and glue dotted (is that a word?) the bats to the end.  I doubled up the wire so it was sturdier and now they don't go anywhere!

This is the picture we were given for inspiration.  Oh how I loved watching all the seasonal cartoons as kids!!

Wanna know what you're competing for this week?!!  The new
All 6 of them and they're a LOT of fun to color.

So go chick it out chickies!!  Get a few ideas from the all the other SBC DT's and let's see your scene

Little Hop of Horrors

Canadian Nickel Scrap’n “Little Hop of Horrors” Halloween Blog Hop

There's lots to HOP about!

Wozers this blog hop is BIG!!!  BUT!!  So are the prizes!!  Hopefully you will have time to make your way through to everyone and leave some luvin' to increase your chances of winning these grand prizes!!  Also, the ideas these ladies are showing are fabulous!!

You should be just crawling in from Debbie P's Place but if you are just starting your haunt you'll want to creep over to Barb's, she holds the key to your escape!
My project for today is a cute little popcorn treat holder.  I used Lola Mummy from Simply Betty Stamps, available in rubber only.

So AFTER I was half done my project I figured I should have done a tutorial on the box at least.  If you are curious, let me know and I'll post a quick tutorial cuz it's really easy!  I did make my own caramel popcorn and found out I hate making anything sticky!!  I used the Martha Stewart drippy goo border punch and Spellbinders new Halloween Fence and distressed it with ink.  My sentiment comes from my great friend CHERI!!

TIP**** I wrapped my box with gauze - try to use gauze that isn't stretchy.  It'll work but just be careful not to stretch it very tight cuz it will make your box bow in or bow out.

Simply Betty Stamps  Set of 6 Halloween Digi’s
Tickled Pink Stamps Lil Lolita Halloween Digi’s
Tiddly Inks $10 Gift Voucher
Scrappy Moms Stamps Haunting we will Go stamp set
My Pink Stamper Stamp Set
