Magnolia Challenges

I made this card and didn't mean to use all the Magnolia challenges but it just worked out that way.

Just Magnolia had this sketch for us:

Magnolia-licious Highlites had an amazing blog hop with all the DT's, which really was EXTRAORDINARY and challenged us to a "Pretty in Pink" card.

Stamps:  Sentiment is SU All Year Cheer and #317 Dangling Tilda, which Diana is taking PreOrders for right now.  [Just click on her Magnolia-licious logo on the l/h side of my blog]
Paper: Bazzill and Bittersweet Basic Grey
Embellishments: Maya Road chipboard hearts, Misc glitter, Stickles, Twinklets, Kaisercraft pearls, Cuttlebug script embossing folder, Sparkle stickers (inside hearts) and Misc X O eyelets
Punches: Fiskars & Martha Stewart, Heart and Labels 1 Nestabilities
Ink: Colored With Copics and Momento Ink

Creative Accents Challenge

Creative Accents, my favorite LSS, is hosting a challenge if you would like to see the details on their blog.  The basic idea is to use old supplies mixed with new supplies.  I came up with a stand up card and you can find the tutorial at Splitcoast Stampers called Free Standing Pop-Up Card.

My "new" is Earth Love dp by Cosmo Cricket and ribbon and my "old" is my poor neglected Hanna Stamp.  I really need to quit buying stamps and use what I have.  Ya right!!!  LOL!!

My first image is folded as if it were in an envelope getting mailed and the 2nd image is when it's all folded out and is standing.  Cute!

Stamps: Hanna Stamps
Paper: Bazzill and Earth Love by Cosmo Cricket
Embellishments: Earth Love Ribbon, Prima Flowers
Punches: MS Leaf punches
Ink: Colored With Copics and Momento Ink

Sketch Saturday Week #85

I just LOVED the sketch at Sketch Saturday this weekend.  I love the more complex sketches, which is funny because you really can make ANY sketch as complex as you like it.

I chose to use this stamp "Winter Lily" from Pink Cat Studio, which was a new release this winter.  So cute!  I also thought I would try some paper piercing and did her coat, pockets and hand warmer.  However, I added white Flower Soft to her hand warmer.  Looks so fluffy.  I know I have been making lots of cards recently with this paper so I'm almost out now.  LOL!!!  Amazing for someone who isn't purple friendly!!!

I also created this card for my LSS, Creative Accents, to display the beautiful products they have in their store.  I bought about 90% of my items there.  GREAT STORE!!

Stamps: Pink Cat Studio
Paper: Bo Bunny Snowy Serenade Serenity
Embellishments: CTMH ric rack ribbon (white), American Crafts "Elements" Glitter Buttons and Basic Grey Opaline Pearls
Punches: EK Sucess Leaf Punch, MS border punch and a bunch of Nesties
Ink: Colored With Copics and Momento Ink
