SIMPLY BETTY CHALLENGE #1 

Colorful Patterns

NUMERO UNO!!  Wooooooo hoooooooo!!  It's finally here!!  Yippeeeeee!!  I am so super excited to be on this DT showcasing SBS images.  Sooooo kewl!!  Not only that but also to be participating from ground zero!!  WOW!  AND OMG the talent on this team is beyond impressive! 

SO our first challenge, and yours should you decide to take it, was/is to take the below picture and make a project inspired by the colorful pattern below.  Now, I don't have any "colorful" patterned paper but the pattern I could do!!  For my shaker card I chose to use Devil Rio.  I am so lovin' this image! 

TADA!  Are these cute or what?  If you can guess who's feet these are.......

LOL!  Just kidding!

Today's blog hop is a little different as it isn't about new images or prizes but all about one very special person and friend "TARA"!!!  This fun gal group got together to wish her a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!  One of her favorite, and I really mean FAVORITE things is coffee!  COFFEE COFFEE COFFEE!!  I think one of MY favorite things about this group of people (including the birthday girl) is that we are not only blogging and scramping friends but we all know each other IN REAL LIFE!!  How lucky are we? 

So Tara I hope you have a super fabulous day today and spend the day well ... mostly the way you want it.  Treat yourself to an extra coffee cuz you are so deserving!!  Oh and in case you are wondering....yes, this one IS in the mail making it's way to you!!  BIG BIRTHDAY HUGS!

I also wish I could be there to give you this birthday cake.  Being that you are a super fan of coffee what a better one to send your way then this?

New DT For Me!

So a few things  have changed for me over the past few week.  As mentioned in my post prior to this one, I had to step down from the LLB design team and choose only 1 to be on cuz of work.  UGH!  So, as Betty owns both The Burtonesque Dolls blog AND the new blog Simply Betty Stamps challenge blog, I have done a transfer and am now a designer for the Simply Betty Stamps challenge blog DT and am happy to say I am the DT coordinator!  Woo!!  I am soooo looking forward to playing with this group of girls.  They are so talented and alone with Betty's amazing stamps we'll have a blog that's gonna ROCK BLOGLAND!!
