For a bit of inspiration I've used London Pumpkin digi image (did I mention she's on sale?) and made a luminary.  I'm lucky she didn't catch on fire cuz I just put a real flame in here.  Those stupid little fake tealights aren't so great but WOW this was!  LOL

SBS Double Whammy Release Blog Hop

Welcome to another Simply Betty Stamps
Double Whammy Release Hop!

Today we have one last Halloween line and a Thanksgiving line that I know you are going to love!  Did you get here from Debbie's gorgeous creation?  If not and you want to start at the beginning, skip back to Betty Boo's blog

We have Darcy the Vampiress, Day of The Dead Timothy, Mina the Sassy Witch, Elaine the Dark Fairy, Lucy the Pumpkin Queen, and James the Zombie! Just wait till you see all the fun my fellow design team gals have created for you!

Now these little toddlers are just so cute you are going to want to squish their lil' cheeks and call 'em cute.

So today I am going to reveal Lucy The Pumpkin Queen.  I think she's so super cute!

Prizes?  Of course as always!  But for the new release Betty is doing something different.

After you have hopped along, please go back to Betty's blog and tell her about your favorite Halloween or Thanksgiving memory and why. It can be the funniest, the scariest, the most memorable one you can think of. Us gals and Betty will pick 6 favorite stories as winners! That means 6 of you will get to choose 4 digis.  Two from the Victorian Halloween  and two from Jude and His Shenanigan Crew Thanksgiving.  How easy is that?!!

You have until Sunday October 10th to leave your story at the Simply Betty Stamps blog. The 6 winners will be announced on Monday October 11th at 8PM PST.

Now off you go to check out
Bwaahh ha ha ha ha ha!!

Simply Betty Challenge #4

SCENE IT!

So this week's challenge at Simply Betty Challenges is all about creating a Halloween scene.  Re-create a card or project and give it your own twist, title or sentiments.  So my little twist is literal.  I twisted 26guage black wire and glue dotted (is that a word?) the bats to the end.  I doubled up the wire so it was sturdier and now they don't go anywhere!

This is the picture we were given for inspiration.  Oh how I loved watching all the seasonal cartoons as kids!!

Wanna know what you're competing for this week?!!  The new
I'M NOT KIDDING!
All 6 of them and they're a LOT of fun to color.

So go chick it out chickies!!  Get a few ideas from the all the other SBC DT's and let's see your scene

Stamps: Simply Betty Stamps "Franken-Jude" and "Skeleton Peter
Paper: Bo Bunny Boo Crew and Ghoulfriends
Embellishments: Tombstone from Colorbok (Michael's), 26guage black wire, Dollar Store web and labeler "RIP"

3rd Day of Halloween Challenge

Today is the 3rd day of Betty's
12 Days of Halloween Challenge

You can check out all the details at Simply Betty Challenges and see who is left but their next card they have to create is a "Creepy Rag Doll" card so I used Betty's free digi image.

If you like this image become a follower and catch her next free digi image at 300 followers.  (*250 or 300 I can't remember)

I was trying to add more of something to this card and finally decided that there was nothing right that fit and maybe it was done.  But how could that be?!!  It's not covered with embellishments.  Well, maybe a nice and simple card is good every once in awhile.  hee hee

Stamps: Simply Betty "Sally"
Embellishments: Dollar Store black web and American Crafts black tulle rose
Punches: Martha Stewart Gate punch
Ink: Copics!
