Kit and Clowder Monthly Challenge

Ok so this post is gonna be JAM PACKED today so bear with me!

A friend contacted me to make a few cards for her and sent me this sample to start with.  THE SECOND ROW, not the one with a square around it.  At first I thought it would be easy, until I tore apart my room to find matching papers and NODDA!  OMG NOW WHAT?!!

 M R Designs is what!!  She made up these papers especially for me and they are stinkin' PERFECT!!   Thank you Michele!

This chipboard sign is from Southern Ridge Trading Company so I just added some letters from my labeler and added some gesso!

And my favorite thing to do...add EMBELLISHMENTS and flowers!!  Love my Kort and Godt white chrysanthemums, my resin heart and metal deco from Live and Love Crafts one of the sponsors for this month's challenge at K&C!

One Bird and One Butterfly

How strange to see something other than an image from me for the main focal point right?!  Well I just thought it showcased these chipboard pieces from Southern Ridge Trading Company so beautifully.  OH AND you even get to see more of my gorgeous Pion paper this way.  Yup, I know I cover lots of mine up but ... I don't believe in TOO many embellishments...EVAH!  LOL!  I actually held myself back from adding more to this one.  hee hee

So this butterfly number is #INS-082 and available in the SRTC store.  I covered it with Tim Holtz white crackle and it's as easy as that!!  LOL!

I kind of went a little crazy on this cutie "bird and leaves" piece but you can't see that.  LOL!  I added many colors of paint and crackle paint to the leaves until it got to this.  I covered the bird with some TH paint and then covered everything with TH crackle rock candy.  A little shiny but I like the finished look.  This isn't on the store yet but will be coming soon!

HAPPY WEEKEND MY PEEPS!!  Well if you're around I am sharing a new card with you today!  I haven't played with red/white/kraft colors in AGES and it was kinda fun I have to say!!  And how do you like that honeycomb chipboard from Southern Ridge Trading Company?!!!  It's so easy to cut however you want it to fit.  LUV THAT!!! 

This cute little image is called Ladybug Marci from La La Land.  First time playing with these images and I think this was my 7th attempt.   ha ha ha!  I still managed to mess up a few things but I'm not going to tell you in hopes that you won't even notice.  LMBO!

Southern Ridge Chipboard Company

Hello all!  I'm back with another cutie card topped off with some wonderful chipboard pieces!!   I've used all kinds of goodies from all over the place on this one!!

The heart border die is from Joy Crafts along with the single hearts that I cut and added over top.  The long stem flowers and grass are from Magnolia and there are Wild Orchid Craft flowers and Kort and Godt flowers scattered throughout.  My gorgeous laces and little present charm is from Live and Love Crafts, my favorite one stop shop store!  Oh I must also mention I bought my papers there as well.  Maja Design's "Vintage Spring Basics" and if you look you can actually see my paper this time!  LOL!

Southern Ridge carries some gorgeous butterflies but this is one of my favorites!!  I painted it up with a Tim Holtz dauber and then added some shabby chic white Frantage around the edges.  The number of this one is INS-082 and you'll find it in the Insects, Animals, Nature and Garden category.

I love this banner because it's etched to look like wood - ON CHIPBOARD!  So instead of coloring it, I just added my own paper sentiment then painted some Gesso around the edges.  This one is BAN-284 and found in the Tags, Banners and Signs category.

AND of course I colored this little sweetie "Daphne" from Wee Stamps, using Copics!
