Little Darlings Rubber Stamps - Breeze

Having a good week so far?  I AM!!  I'm off work for the whole week as my twin sister is visiting!  WOO HOO!!  Are we getting any crafting in you ask?  PFFFFT OF COURSE!

But today I'm sharing a card I made a few weeks ago using SC's "Breeze" from Little Darlings Rubber Stamps.  She's adorable huh?!  I also used the new papers from LDRS called "Petals and Lace" a gorgeous vintage collection filled with pinks and purples.

Don't you just love the bird's nest I made?  Quick and easy!  I thought it went nicely with the Prima birds nest as well as the image itself.  The zipper is also a piece from Prima.

I've added my usual Wild Orchid bouquet with stems from Live and Love Crafts.  The Maya Road burlap rose is also from LLC but I intertwined some pearls into the rose so it didn't look so plain.

Thank you for stopping by today and enjoy the rest of your week!!
I know I will!!  heeee heeee!!

Live and Love Crafts - Pink

This week at LLC, in honor of breast cancer awareness, not only is our monthly challenge pink but so is this week's inspirations.  LOVE PINK!!

This cute image is Uptown Girl "Madison has a Margarita" from Stamping Bella and Pion Designs "Vintage Garden" Peony papers. I distressed all the edges and after that I added Stardust Stickles to EVERYTHING!

As much as I have found out I love making vintage cards, I also like making whimsical cards but it just goes to show how versatile products from Live and Love Crafts can be.  As you can see by my list below, I have used lots of items from there to make this sweet card.  So no matter what your style is, there's something for everyone at LLC.
I've added a Prima "Pageant White" flower and topped it off with a Memory Box "Kaleidoscope" butterfly die.  Even the butterfly has Stickles!!  I like how the picture actually shows the glitter under her boots too.  Can never have too much glitter!!

I punched a Tim Holtz border with some white chipboard and then again with some of the Pion Design "Vintage Garden" paper.

This big bouquet has some Wild Orchid Crafts flowers, Kort and Godt rolled flowers, foam flower buds and a Melissa Frances resin frame for my "Happy" sentiment.  You can hardly see it but the lace is Scalloped Venice Lace "Rose" and oh so pretty don't you think?

I made this card for my stepdaughter's birthday yesterday.  Sigh....I wish they would stop getting older because I sure as heck don't want to.  LOL!

Happy birthday Sara!

Live & Love Crafts Challenge

Hello and welcome back to another monthly challenge at Live and Love Crafts!

In honor of breast cancer awareness month, we are using PINK as our theme for this month's challenge.  Soooo heck why not color her hair pink too?!!  I'm not one to ever color a shade outside of the box for hair but this was FUN!!   It makes her look so magical!  I like how it turned out and I think I should do it more often.

I paired up papers from the new Maja Design "Sofiero" collection with Saturated Canary's image "Breeze" available at Little Darlings Rubber Stamps.  Then I added some gorgeous Madeleine lace around 3 edges of the 2nd layer to frame in my image with some pretty softness, as well as that stunning strand of pearls.

I cut 2 hearts using the "So Wrapped Lovely" Magnolia doohickey and added some pretty shabby seam binding bow's.  I also put some shabby pink Frantage on the wooden butterfly available at LLC.  It's just great the places you can add that stuff to!

And here's another one of my fancy bouquets.  hee hee  Lots of Wild Orchid Crafts flowers, some Kodt and Godt flowers and some yummy apples all touched with a hint of gesso for some shabby chicness.  Is that a word?

I would LOVE to see you join us this month.  I mean pink is so easy right?

As always, there is a gift certificate for the winner:
I hope I've inspired you to play along this month but if you need a little more check out my DT's creations at the Live and Love Crafts Inspiration blog.  They always bring it!
I'd like to enter this card into the challenge for Crafts and Me of "Lovely Lace".

Thanks for stopping by today!  Hugs!
