Kit and Clowder Celebration!

This weekend we are celebrating Kit and Clowder's 1500 members on the website and now over 1500 members on Facebook.  As a token of appreciation Alyce is doing a number of things over a 24hour period, which started yesterday.  If you join us on the FB group you'll catch everything.  Part of the giveaway is a free digi image from Krista's Saturated Canary line so I got to place with this image called "Ellie Awesome Sauce".  LOL!  I think that name is correct but it's "Ellie" for sure anyway.  I haven't had a chance to make a card like this for awhile. Just bright and colorful and nothing about vintage.  hee hee  That's for later today.  ha ha ha!

Always hard to do a closeup of flowers and anything black but I gave it a go anyway.  It's been so long since I've played with my Magnolia viewfinder dies and same with the Tim Holtz filmstrip.  I'm sure we all have some of that left over.  LOL!  My domino came from my stash so was happy to use that up! 

I used my Copics, of course and have listed the colors below.  I'm still working on my hair classes and some days almost feel like I've forgotten how to color hair!  Crazy!!  LOL!  I just had to add some Stickles underneath her feet and to all my flowers as well.

Anyway, I hope you get a chance to pop over to Alyce's FB group for giveaways and sales.  OH AND she is also having a sale on her classes!  If you haven't picked up anything for your mother, this just might be the thing!!  And if you are a mother, spoil yourself!  LOL!!  I can't tell you enough how in depth the classes are and Alyce gives feedback to EVERYONE!

Chi Chi Images

This month at Kit and Clowder we are using images from Chi Chi Memories and they are sponsoring a prize of a free digi and a 15% off coupon for their site.  There is quite a cute selection to choose from too!!

The theme is "MAY FLOWERS"!  It doesn't have to be a colored flower on your image, just any kind of flower on your whole card.  HOW IS THAT FOR EASY?!! 

I used paper from Maja Designs, butterfly from Memory Box, corner die from Noor Design, some rose ribbon from Live and Love Crafts and my square doily.

Here you can see my Wild Orchid Crafts flowers and spiral stamens mixed in with some more leaf dies and ribbon/lace from LLC.  The round die is from LDRS called "Lovely View". 

This cute image is called "FOR YOU" and I've colored her with Copics these colors:

Saturday Birthday Party

WOW I have LOADED this card with all kinds of stuff from all over the place!  LOL!!  I started out with my favorite paper company "Maja Designs" and used the gorgeous Vintage Spring Basics.  I'm going nuts waiting for the new collection to come out.  Hopefully by the time this posts, we will have seen something new!  I just love those butterfly dies from Noor Design.  So pretty!

This picture is to show the cute little chipboard wood fence from Southern Ridge Trading Company.  I colored the fence with some TH daubers first and then spray some kind of gold flecked mist over top.  (Sorry can't remember the name.)  The flower is from Prima but I've had for a long time so it was nice to finally use it.  LOL!  The gorgeous lace is from Live and Love Crafts. 

Isn't this heart sign just the cutest?  This is also from SRTC and I painted it with TH crackle paint.  The "Love" sentiment, the heart sign and fence all comes in one set.

Cute image huh?!!  It's called an SC image called "Saturday Birthday Party" from Little Darlings Rubber Stamps.  I tried my hand at distress ink coloring again...kinda cute but I need a bit more practice.
