The Sugar Bowl Challenge 28

I wanted to participate in The Sugar Bowl Challenge in hopes that I MIGHT have a chance on winning the brand new Magna Sugar Nellies which you can see here and they are items #2-7.  So adorable!  You have to use their sketch and add "lace" onto your card, which I chose a paper lace border.

I really didn't want to hide this gorgeous paper with embellishments but have a hard time leaving "white space".  I'm so not good at that but I forced myself to put the card down and back away from the table!  LOL!  If you look closely enough you can see the Spica pens shimmer in her hair.  I also added glaze to the coffee cup.

Stamps:  Sugar Nellie
Paper:  Prima "Flirty Little Secret" Playful
Embellishments: Prima flowers, American Crafts pearl brad, Opaline pearls, Kaisercraft Pearls, Glossy Accents, Spica glitter pens and Stickles glitter.
Punches: Martha Stewart
Ink: Colored With Copics and Momento Ink

What a neat, unique card! I didn't even get the notice yet that there was a new entry. Beautiful job - as always! There is something for you on my blog. Please visit when you have a minute.

Me again. Forgot to tell you that I don't care for a lot of white space either which is why you will see the use of chalks on most of my cards!
