FINALLY! My mojo's back!!

Today I have a card that includes 3 challenges.  I don't like to do too many cuz then I can't keep track of them when I put them on my blog.  LOL!!  I started by using a Stampotique stamp called (if you can believe this) "Relaxin".

So starting with the first and newest challenge:

The Burtonesque Dolls - if you haven't seen this blog yet, please go visit.  It's really outside the box and I love it!  This week's challenge was to take any stamp and turn the card into a girl who could qualify to be in a Timothy Burton movie.

Cute Card Thursday - asked for us to make the card for Someone Special.  Oh easy!!  My sister!!  She loved this odd stamp as much as I did and we bought 3 different ones together.

Friday Sketchers for this sketch:
So here's my reveal!!  LOL!!  I also used chalks to grunge up the nice white
lace and I  put gloss on her umbrella, hearts on her hat, her tie and her purse.
Hope you like it!

Stamps:  Stampotique "Relaxin"
Paper: Basic Grey Wisteria (LOVE THIS COLLECTION!)
Embellishments: Wild Orchid Flowers, lace from UK Hobby House, gems, Liquid Applique and chalk
Punches: Martha Stewart Heart punch
Ink: Colored With Copics and Momento Ink

Sketch Saturday #82

I was working on a card this morning and getting my elements all ready to put together but then was stumped.  After peeking around at sketches I remembered that it's SATURDAY!!  And that means a new sketch at Sketch Saturday!!  YAY!!  What a good one so here's the sketch and here's my card!

The stamp is from Stampotique which reminds me of Timothy Burton's Christmas.  I colored my chipboard snowflake with Mahogany distress ink from Tim Holtz then covered it with Twinklets.  The borders are both Martha Stewart and the gem in the middle of the snowflake is from Michael's - Creative Imaginations.  Creepy card huh? LOL!

Oh Joy! Stampotique

I tried very very hard to leave this card simple. You would think that would be easy huh? Nope!!! It just didn't seem to need anymore tho. The saying is a rub-on from American Crafts called Frosty Phrases.

Stampotique

Ok, so Simone and I discovered some new weird off the wall stamps thanks to Candace at Rubbah Soul. She has Gooseneck and Oh Joy and we knew we had to have them! My girlfriend, Sheri Danielson sent them to us from the US. Thanks Sheri! She thinks I have finally shifted to the dark side. LOL! I bought Oh Joy and Relaxin' and Simone bought Sheer. Creepy!
