Whipper Snapper Christmas

I had actually used Sketch Saturday's sketch from last weekend for this card but missed the deadline and didn't want to post because my friend Cheri hadn't received it anyway.  I actually enjoyed coloring up this cute Whipper Snapper stamp.

Just a quick post cuz I'm at mom's for Christmas.  Woo hoo!!

Merry Christmas to all my blogging friends!  I wish the best to you and all your families and am looking forward to another wonderfully creative year!!  MWAH!

Friday Sketchers #128

Well not much to say about this card other then that I used the sketch from Friday Sketchers below.  I LOVE that they have a sketch a week!!!  I did turn this sketch sideways to try to fit my image.

I did add 2 rows of pine borders to follow the sketch but added another row of Barbara Trombley's Elements "Earth Textures - Roots" to give it a more woodsey feel.  Is that a word?

SANTA!!!! Whipper Snapper

I just LOVE this stamp so thanks to Shelly for the image!  I had so much fun coloring him using my Copics (of course) and put glitter on his beard, Flower soft on his fur on his hat & coat, Spica glitter on his belt buckle and the buckles on his shoes then topped the buckles off with Glossy Accents.  I also added Glossy Accents to the presents.  OH!  And I used Twinklets for the snow on the chimney and roof.  I hated to send it off so soon without being able to appropriately oogle it for a few days (eeee hee hee I is sic) but I was happy to be sending it to someone who will equally appreciate all the work I put into it.  Okay off to make more cards!  LOL!

Challenges All O're The Place!!!

I am so excited to say this is my first time putting together 5, yes I say 5 challenges!!!  I have really enjoyed making Halloween cards over the past month or so and wish I had time to make more but with christmas around the corner I better get my butt in gear and start making those ones.

Today's card includes the following challenges:

Cute Card Thursday - Spook Fest
Charisma Cardz - Distressing of any kind (inked around the edges of most layers)
Basic Grey - Sketch (I turned mine to the left) and I used BG DP
Stamp Something - Bling - BLING!!!  (bling in the upper r/h & lower l/h corner & flower centers.  I also have blingy bats as I used sparkle paper!!)
Copic Creations - Coloring Black  (her hat)

And now for the inside - yes, I did the inside!!  OH MA GOODNESS!  I still can't get over the ladies who do the inside all the time!  I'm slow enough.  LOL!

Halloween!!! Whipper Snapper

I made this card this weekend and didn't get time to post. I don't normally post during the week and hubby is waiting to watch tv so this will be quick! The stamp is from Whipper Snapper fall line (if you really want to know what it's called email me later). The pics below show how the Spica Glitter pens worked. I did a lot of glitter on the card. It's a fun one!!!
Booooooooooootiful!!! hee hee

Santa!

Another image from Laurel and I am pretty sure this Santa is from Whipper Snapper. I really went to town on this one with all the extra bling. hee hee I added Liquid Applique to all the fur on his coat and then added Stickles. Cuz apparently Santa needs bling too! LROL!

Whipper Snapper - Waiting For Santa

For some reason I got stumped on this guy but I think I finally got it. I put Liquid Applique Frosty's hood, ground, top of the North Pole sign and on the ball then added Stickles. There is also Stickles on the red stripes on the pole. I used Stampendous snowflakes I got from an RAK last year. They're so cute! I have a few more Whipper Snapper's I must try out!! Yippeeeeeeeeee!

Hats Off to the Holidays

I love the Whipper Snapper stamps but I do find it a bit hard to spruce up a card using such a big image. Lots of surfing blogs let me tell you!! LOL! I colored using Copics and fun flocked the snowman. Next time I make this I will use thicker ribbon....which I found AFTER I made this. :)

Whipper Snapper Hats Off to the Holidays

Another cutie patootie Whipper Snapper stamp. OMG!! CUTE! I am having so much fun coloring!! Used lots of Poly-Glaze all over and overtop of the Quickutz metro font J-O-Y circle. Also used yellow Stickles on the stars and some new beaded type gems.

Whipper Snaper Caroling Snowmen

So last night I sat on the couch and did up 3 layouts while I was watching tv. This is the first one. I had previously colored it so it went together pretty fast. I loved that!! I embossed the blue layer using the snowflakes folder but you can't see it very well on here. I added lots of Poly-Glaze everywhere! OH and I used my Copics to color it! Am still in luv with them! I added lots of Stickles for the snowflakes and over top of the Liquid Applique snow at the bottom. I even managed to sneak in using my Inkssentials white pen. My new favorite pen!

Whipper Snapper

This little monkey is too cute! An image sent to me by Laurel (thanks!) by Whipper Snapper. I am getting good practice with my Copics! I love the bg paper. I went and bought it specifically for this card. Fortunately it was double sided so I could use both!!
