Tilda With Fruit

Last Tuesday I shared a card using some papers from Pion's "Patchwork of Life" collection that were pink.  Today I'm back using papers from the same collection only this time in blue.  Just goes to show the variety available in this collection.  I just love them!!   I've used Magnolia's "Tilda with Fruit" from the Farmer's Market collection but the poor girl has nothing in her farm basket.  Well that's cuz she picked a bunch of blueberries but ate them before she got home.  LOL!!  😀


I've added a bouquet filled with many flowers from the store but also a gorgeous antique bronze floral heart peeking out and a gold leather tassel.  I've had it for awhile so was excited to finally have the perfect place to use it!  There are black tassels too, which I think would be perfect for a masculine card.  Note to self....buy more tassels.  LOL!!


I've been trying to step out of my comfort zone by adding a different color that I wouldn't normally use.  In your face green it is!!  LOL!  Here I've used a Scrapniec "Mama's Porch Windows" fence and colored it with TH paint and distressed it a bit to make it look a little weathered.  


I've said it before but I'll say it again...I LOVE THESE BARK HEARTS!  Sometimes I cover them with white gesso for that shabby look.  Awww heck gesso'ed and shabby or bark colored, there's a place everywhere for these little beauties!!!

Patchwork of Life

Good day!!  Well I just enjoyed a 4 day weekend and got ahead of my card making a smidgen!  Well I don't really know how far ahead you can get because time flies by so fast!  LOL!  I played with some of the new papers from Pion's "Patchwork of Life" collection and used their gorgeous image that came with it from the "When I Was Little" sheet. 


There's not a whole lot to say about this card as I tried to keep it somewhat simple to show off the gorgeous image and Scrapiniec "Grapevine Oval 03" frame.  I made a nice little bouquet using some Wild Orchid Craft flowers.  


ISN'T THIS LITTLE BEE ADORABLE?!!!  OH MY!!   I just love this little fella - so pretty!!  It was hard to use instead of hoarding it.  LOL!!  Note to self - MUST GET MORE!  

I snuck in Fantasy's "Bazaar Die", which surprises me as that it's still in stock!!  It cuts beautifully and looks amazing.  Well...I'm biased cuz I have one.  LOL!!!

Loli & Shellie

I'm back and this time it's with a very special card I made for my mother's birthday!!  Everything had to be juuuuust right!!  In order to make that happen, I started out with Maja Design's new collection "Denim and Friends".  I just got it in the mail a few days before so YAY!!!  PERFECT!!!  


I've colored up the image - Whimsy Stamps "Loli and Shellie" using my Copics.  SHE'S SOOOOOOO CUTE........If I do so say myself.  😁


Ooooooooooo I've had this Scrapiniec "Lacey Heart" in my stash for a bit and found the perfect spot for it under Joy's "Crafty Cocktail Typewriter" die.  I made a rolled flower using some of the Foamiran and added some pretty Rosy Owl leaves along with a few other flowers.


Here's another Foamiran flower I made popping on this gorgeous "Wilma" button and some white stamens.  Eeeeeeeeeeee!!  More WOC flowers and a few more trinkets there.  


OH AND ... if you hadn't noticed, there is an amazing sale
STILL GOING ON!  Lots of stuff left but also
some incredible new stuff in the store too.   Go on, take a peek....
