SANTA!!!! Whipper Snapper

I just LOVE this stamp so thanks to Shelly for the image!  I had so much fun coloring him using my Copics (of course) and put glitter on his beard, Flower soft on his fur on his hat & coat, Spica glitter on his belt buckle and the buckles on his shoes then topped the buckles off with Glossy Accents.  I also added Glossy Accents to the presents.  OH!  And I used Twinklets for the snow on the chimney and roof.  I hated to send it off so soon without being able to appropriately oogle it for a few days (eeee hee hee I is sic) but I was happy to be sending it to someone who will equally appreciate all the work I put into it.  Okay off to make more cards!  LOL!

More Christmas Cards

Here is another card I couldn't post until my girlfriend got it and yup she has!!! Ok I have done 1 original card for almost everyone on my list which I understand now is crazy but I bore easily!  35 cards this year, which isn't bad but I really need to make more like 4 of each to make it easier on myself.  I have so many christmas stamps that I hate to use just one!!!

A Spoon Full of Sugar: Challenge 82

A Spoon Full of Sugar offered up this wonderful sketch for their most recent challenge and I just LOVE layers!!

I was so excited when my husband came in the door on Monday, Dec. 21st because he had been to the post office and 2 of my Magnolia's I had ordered and been shipped on Dec. 17th!!! were in the mail!!!!!  Thank you Diana!!  I was doin' the happy dance because I was just thrilled to make this card for somebody before christmas as well as to enter in into the challenge.  OMG she is just so freakin' cute!

I also wanted to thank Sharon Caudle, Gramma's House of Cards, as her coloring has been such an inspiration to me.  Thanks!!!

The Sugar Bowl Challenge 25

I just LOVE this image and knew I had to use her for The Sugar Bowl Challenge.  They provided a sketch and you had to use your favorite color.  I don't know that I have one but PINK would be quite a way up there anyway.  Thanks to my sister Simone for her snowflake inspiration.

Magnolia Challenges

For this card I incorporated 2 Magnolia challenges.  My first one is for Just Magnolia and it's this sketch:

My 2nd challenge is from Magnolia Down Under Challenges and their challenge is *Stamp With Another Use*.  I chose to use Giggling Tilda and create her into a christmas card.  Check out some of the DT cards to find out more.

Sketch Saturday #82

I was working on a card this morning and getting my elements all ready to put together but then was stumped.  After peeking around at sketches I remembered that it's SATURDAY!!  And that means a new sketch at Sketch Saturday!!  YAY!!  What a good one so here's the sketch and here's my card!

The stamp is from Stampotique which reminds me of Timothy Burton's Christmas.  I colored my chipboard snowflake with Mahogany distress ink from Tim Holtz then covered it with Twinklets.  The borders are both Martha Stewart and the gem in the middle of the snowflake is from Michael's - Creative Imaginations.  Creepy card huh? LOL!
