Mojo Monday & Copic Colour Challenge

I have wanted to do a bubble card for awhile now so here it is!  TADA!!  I won't be making another one again for awhile.  Wow that's time consuming  Well.......cutting all the little leaves was the time consuming part.  It was hard to take a good pic of it because the light was bouncing off the bubble.  I hope you can see it.

I used Monday Mojo sketch as shown here.

I challenge myself to use the colors for this week's challenge at Copic Colour Challenge, which called for :

Unfortunately I didn't have the E07 but it didn't seem to fit with the YR23 and YG97 I used.  Love that color!

Here's a close up view:

The idea came from the BoBunny post Recycle and Reuse.  The globe is made using Bo Bunny packaging, which you can actually buy now.  I colored with Copics, added glaze to all my leaves, 3-d Riley's pumpkins and used Quickutz for the branches.  The dp paper is from Bo Bunny's fall line last year.  Hope you like it!!

Riley - I Miss You!!

I think this guy is so cute!! I used a sketch from June PageMaps and couldn't post until now because it's on it's way through the mail to my sister's house. hee hee! I have kind of forgotten everything because it's been a few weeks but just had to share his "cuteness".

Riley

Ok, so I had to make a quick post cuz I'm sneaking it in right now. My husband thinks I'm packing for our camping trip! hee hee A few of my friends noticed I haven't posted for a number of weeks. They are going through withdrawals (so am I), which I must say is the ultimate compliment for moi. So this post goes out to Cheri & Chris. Thanks for missing my stuff!

Coincidentally, I really NEEDED to make a card this morning so I took the Sketch Saturday sketch and inked up one of my old Riley stamps. He looked so lonely but now ALLLLLL my stamps are screaming at me to be used. LOL!! Although you can't see it, I did 3d Riley and his cozy chair. Hope this holds you over until next weekend! I will have LOTS for you then. :)

One of a Kind

It's my hubby's birthday so since he's always such a good judge of my cards I wanted to give him an "ooohhh ahhhhh" card. SHE SHOOTS SHE SCORESSSSSSSS!! He loved it! I can't believe I pulled this one off cuz I'm tired with strep throat. Oooooh ick!! Apparently my creative juices aren't affected tho so that's great! hee hee On the inside it says Happy Birthday to a one of a kind! All Riley's are 3d's with double sided foam stickies and colored with Copics.

Riley

I love Riley!!!! It's too bad but you can't see the clear Spica glitter I colored the snowman with. It's suttle but so suttle we can't get it onto our blogs. LOL! I also colored Riley's scarf and hat with the red Spica glitter. The big snowflake is chipboard and I covered it with Stickles and punched 2 holes with my Crop-o-dile so I could thread the ribbon through.

Pumpkin Riley

I bought some new colored core carstock that my LSS carries from Core'dinations and also used my newly acquired pumpkin embossing Cuttlebug folder. The leaves are from CTMH and I colored using Prisma's.

Riley - Santa Riley

As much as I would love to take credit for this card I can't. I love surfing blogs sometimes. You find the most talented people and this time I found very creative and inspiring Shannon! If you haven't seen her blog Live, Love, Laugh and STAMP you must check it out. I can't wait to do more Riley's!

Riley

My mom is such a card! (aaa ha ha ha!) She probably has the quickest wit out of anyone I know and believes that there is humour in everything in life. Even when it's not exactly appropriate but even pulls that off with class and respect. Boy has she proven that time and again! She made me a get well card (it's okay all, I'm fine) and obviously giggled her ass off when she was making it! Anyway, here is her latest - who ever said Riley was a guy?!! A scrunchie in the ponytail, earrings, extra eyelashes, blush on her cheeks, lipstick, BOOBS!! and a bellybutton! If you look really close, she even put my name on the mug! Isn't her detail amazing?!! I know if there was somewhere that she could have put nail polish on her hoofs she would have! The inside said "This is you with extra makeup on pretending you're feeling better then you are!!!" LMAO!! I was so impressed! Ahhh I love my mom! :)

Sick Riley

I made this little fella last weekend but I couldn't post it until I gave it to my mom. She just had a sore jaw but she's better now. Hey!! ANY excuse to make a card!!! LOL!! :)

Riley - Pumpkin Patch

Riley strikes again!! I just love my new scalloped squares and circles I bought. Talk about taking the BLAH out of squares. Don't get me wrong - I freakin' love squares cuz they are so precise but these add something really different and just.....something more.

More of Riley

Thank you grande!! I gave this card to my special mom. She came with me to a few appointments that I really didn't feel like going to by myself. I cut out Riley, colored him again and put 3D tape behind him and dressed it up with a clear gloss. Looks really nice IRL!

Don't get all excited - the stitching isn't real. LROL!

Coffee Riley

I just love this new little Riley character from Hanna Stamps. I think I might have a new collection starting!! I've been a bellaholic for a few years now so maybe it's time to be a Rileyholic too!!! I bought 3 Riley's on my last order so we'll see how they turn out. When I got them in the middle of last week I was so disappointed at my own timing. I had lent my Copics to my LSS store because they are going to start selling them but needed to do some visual color checks. I didn't mind since I knew I was helping to enable fellow scramper/stampers HOWEVER!!!;--- I had to resort to my pencil crayon technique!!! OH HEAVENS!! Yes, I know!! It didn't turn out too bad but my 2nd card is Copics. OBVIOUSLY!! I'm still working on my shading but I'm gettin' it!!
